The oddest thing about all this is that he doesn't seem sad in the slightest. I've seen people who have lost a cat who were in more grief than Boogie. I guess that's what happens when you treat your wife as a live-in nurse instead of a partner.

The problem is that he can’t act sad in the video because that’s more leverage for lawayers to use against him as emotional manipulation when they actually do divorce. More power to him if he wants to air out his grievances, but this video’s already not doing him any favors. Imagine if he had cried or be angry - Dez could’ve killed his career.

Or maybe he’s trending backwards now. No emotions is a clear sign of depression.

It could be that the marriage has been dead for a long time and Dez finally pulling the plug on it is the best thing for both of them.

There's no shortage of chubby chasers who will cream themselves over getting with some c list youtube celebrity.

I've actually only been watching Boogie on and off since his surgery. I've known of him in the past, but I wanted to know more about the gastric bypass because my wife underwent the same surgery years prior and wanted to see his progression.

I've skimmed through this thread a bit, but what makes him a true lolcow? Is he not taking his post-surgery regimine seriously? Is he constantly blaming anxiety and PTSD- wherever that came from- on everything (like his divorce)? From what I gathered in this thread, he made his wife put up with a bunch of manipulate, crybaby shit the last few years and now he is finally manning up to it (by manning up, I mean blaming his anxiety). Any other TL;DR summary of Boogie or some fun trivia & tidbits? Thanks.

What makes him a true lolcow to me is that his reaction to literally everything, no matter where it is on the political spectrum, is to sit on the fence and spout nonsense about how both sides have a point. He seems physically incapable of just committing to an opinion. If you asked him what he thought about Stalin's purges he'd say something like "well I don't agree with the massacre of millions, but it is true that Stalin was under a lot of stress and we shouldn't judge each other based on our worst days".
He's not as out there as OPL or Phil, but if your definition of a lolcow is a weirdo who spills spaghetti whenever he's poked, he qualifies imo.

And he's fat.

I agree with what @Coconut Gun said. I understand people handle sadness/grief differently, but I earnestly believe he isn't in that distressing of a place as he would like us to believe. His tone and attitude remind me of apology videos that aren't about apologising for what was done, but for not lying better. He seems very 'meh', as if this day was always a strong possibility in his mind, but assumed things would work themselves out for him. Like "it's not my fault marriage is hard." But now the day has come, and he just seems unsurprised at most.

What a passive aggressive manipulator. So many people still regard him as a higher being. After his consecutive teenage angst tweets and this whole situation, I hope people start to see him for the gluttonous manipulating blob he is.

He’s so horrible. Anybody not knowing or understanding passive aggressive behavior would think that was a reasonable good guy message from a resigned ex-husband, rather than a manipulative reiteration of his victimhood and a list of who’s at fault.

Somewhere in there is a guy screaming that Dez didn’t keep her oath of “in sickness and in health”, without letting on there is no health in Boogie’s life and never was, so the whole phrase should be negated anyway. The closest he got is the weighty voiced, “here I stay and here I prosper” - a man with a greying beard in a room full of toys.

I’m glad she got out. Many don’t and end up living their life as an inadvertent foil to a professional victim forever. Godspeed, Dez.

I would say another thing that makes Steven a cow is his constant attempts at getting pity from his fans - like the week long saga of how he might have a pituitary tumor in his brain which was causing his weight gain (meanwhile other people who are legit dying of brain cancer are ignored to put this man in line to get him is MRI's stat).

It turns out that he's just super fucking fat.
