I've skimmed through this thread a bit, but what makes him a true lolcow? Is he not taking his post-surgery regimine seriously? Is he constantly blaming anxiety and PTSD- wherever that came from- on everything (like his divorce)? From what I gathered in this thread, he made his wife put up with a bunch of manipulate, crybaby shit the last few years and now he is finally manning up to it (by manning up, I mean blaming his anxiety). Boogie is a very milquetoast individual. He has zero impulse control and a very weak personality, but has quite cleverly leveraged those deficits into assets and become something of a c-list internet celebrity because of them. He is the fat gamer on Youtube, with just enough charisma and a soft enough tone of voice to convince people that he's this really lovely guy who fights a thousand personal demons every day and yet somehow still has a smile for his fans.

The trouble is that he's also the epitome of an emotional manipulator, and very visibly believes his own lies. He is also an absolutely inveterate practitioner of double-think, frequently making statements that simply do not correlate with the facts of his condition. For example, he has repeatedly blamed his weight and eating habits on external factors while simultaneously claiming that obese people shouldn't hide behind such excuses. He is the epitome of a preacher that does not practice what he teaches. He uses every get-out-of-jail-free card he can get his hands on; his mother is to blame for his weight, his genetics are to blame for his weight, his body just magically doesn't follow the laws of physics, etc.

Basically, he is the kind of person who finds it easier to suffer all the consequences of his bad behavior than change in the slightest. He spent months hyping up his gastric bypass surgery as the thing that would finally get him 'cured', and how much he hated being trapped in the hideous prison that was his body. Then, less than a week later he started tweeting about how he was happy with what he was and how nobody should be pressured to be anything other than what they are. Boogie wants pity. He feeds on it just as much as he feeds on fast food. He needs you to see him as just a poor, innocent man who was dealt all the wrong cards by existence, yet shoulders on as best he can. Nothing else matters at all. Pay attention to him.

The day that Boogie dies of massive organ failure, he will be smiling. He will be smiling because he will have thousands of positively brainwashed fans lamenting in despair about how he was too good for this sinful earth and that he fought bravely till the end. Not one of those fans will be saying anything along the lines of 'if he had the mental strength to just not stuff his face with everything in sight, he'd still be alive.'

Turning off the comments is basically No-Shit-Sherlock affirmation that he knows this video will just embarrass his ex even more and just doesn't give a fuck about how it'll be used against him in any settlement. Much like the DrDisrespect situation, signalling to the world that your relationship is in shambles is only patronizing to the fairer partner.

Chronic overeaters like Boogie have a mental addiction to food that surpasses his physical capacity to comfortably eat. He's a stress eater, probably a boredom eater, and a food addict. It's more likely he'll burst his stomach-sac or whatever the bypass' new pseudostomach is called than actually change his diet. Stuff like that requires a no-nonsense approach that's more likely to be found in a hospital setting where his agency to find food is removed entirely.

Thanks for the TL;DR's. I was going off of just his heavily edited Youtube videos. I ventured to his archived Twitter and ESPECIALLY his Twitch streams- holy fuck, what a mess. His newest Twitch stream seemed like he was going through some complete psychological breakdown, unless that's how he always acts. Christ.

A man who screams and flaunts how well he is doing always turns out to be the exact opposite and really is not doing well at all.

It will be interesting to see how much Dez was a part of his life once everything goes through fully and she is completely gone. Keep an eye on the background during his streams and videos for any mess and clutter, keep an eye on the colour of his hair. He is loosing weight, but not at a level he should be.
