I kind of understand disliking Love Live's character designs. It's basically nine of the same bitch with different hair styles and eye makeup.

However, what I don't understand is Tumblrinas watching the show in spite of that. There's literally nothing there for them- it's a piece of cutesy marketing meant to sell shit to lonely men. Of course it's not going to stack up to their bogus sociopolitical standards, I don't know what they were expecting.

it also made me realize why some of the faces these people draw looks so... ugly and lumpy... the bridge of the nose is too big and goes past the eyes onto the forehead
i assume its an attempt at drawing a big nose but it just ends up looking like they scaled the whole nose up in their art program, fix that and im sure the whole face would come together much nicer
