Literally step one is check if a claim holds (mootness, ripeness, ect).

No. Zaiger is possibly financially ruined, although he has a chance of winning costs against Monserrat. US courts are kind of shit about awarding costs to victims of vexatious litigation though, which is pretty much the one place they're inferior in free speech laws to Europe (even Britain). Even so, with Razzle-Dazzle Randazza representing him and Monserrat's history of being a maliciously asshurt serial litigant, he has an okay shot at being made whole.

And even if he's ruined and ends up living in a cage under my bed taking female hormones and sucking my dick for food, ED will live on. Even when Sherrod deliberately destroyed it, people sifted through webcaches to restore it as best they could ; and I can't imagine Zaiger spitefully deleting it, no matter what. If he can't afford to keep running it he'll just pass it off to somebody who can.

I think this is the route that they will go, since Randazza probably isn't terribly confident in Zaiger's ability to pay their 87k bill. Having a court order in place to collect fees and court costs from a frivolous plaintiff would probably give Randazza a better outcome in the long run, and attorneys don't like vexatious litigants in general.

Personally, I don't think ED is bad per se, as there are a few very well written articles on that site, but I do think that it needs a fuckton of improvement.

1: Get rid of the pop-up advertisements. They're not funny and since they don't make them any money, why do they keep them? I can tolerate them on my desktop PC, but it makes mobile viewing of the site absolute hell.

2: Fix your fucking articles. A lot of articles are either broken or haven't been updated in nearly 9 years. Even the Chris Chan article, which got Chris on the map, is outdated and full of misinformation. It literally just takes a trip to the CWCki.

3: Get better content creators. Okay, to be fair, this one isn't really one that ED themselves can do, as it takes other people to come to the site and add quality content. I feel that ED has a "quantity over quality" policy and while there are some really well-written articles, most are just :autism: and are full of "lmao this dude a faggot he should an hero rn lol lmaoooo!!!!"

Personally, if ED fixes at least one of these, the site would be leagues better in my opinion.

I guess calling DOOM is more fun then following all of a story.

ED is fine, it's not going anywhere. Even if it was going away, and we did get a giant migration of people from EDF, (Two extremely big ifs.) 90% of them would be fine, and the other 10% would become content. All business as usual.
