I think people here givin Amberlynn way too much credit as a conniving, premeditated manipulator. She's not very smart. She's pretty fucking stupid honestly. She lands some sweet, temporary deals with emotionally or intellectually-stunted chicks and doesn't keep it going but for only as long as she can without being herself - which is, for everyone with a half a brain, a dealbreaker. She isn't a cunning manipulator, she's a grown-ass woman with no prospects who jumps from place to place, zoning in on potentially weak or empathetic people, because she has no job history or extracurricular prowess. She's a manipulator for sure but not because she's smart, in any way, it's the only thing she fucking knows.

I agree she isn’t very smart. That being said I think her manipulation is part of her survival. And the people she finds are really kind anf she takes advantage of that. I also thinks she dumps herself on people.

I recently saw a comment on her newest video saying how wonderful AL is and how hard her life has been. I do think that she uses her past for sympathy manipulation.

I've seen this rumor floating around and haven't seen any evidence, I even checked through the recording when I first heard and didn't find anything either...although I wouldn't be surprised if that has some bit of truth to it, and would be very interested in seeing how Eric really feels about that.

Imo I can only see Eric and Rickie allowing Amber to Amber-ize the place if her and Becky really are paying "66%" to their "33%" or if they really love Becky.

I've seen some comments on various of his videos - people asking if it was true that Amber paid more rent than they did. There were no replies from Eric in the comments I've seen.

IIRC, this was brought up by Amber on her now defunct ask.fm. She said something along the lines of "I pay 33%, Becky pays 33% and the boys pay 33%".

There are two ways to interpret what she said (I'm being charitable):
1. She and Becky pay 66% of the rent while the boys pay 33%, making it 1% short, or
2. When she said the boys pay 33%, she meant each one of them pays 33%, meaning they pay 132% of the rent each month.

Apropos of nothing I did a few searches to figure out how much they pay for rent. In one of the websites I found the suggested rent was less than $1000.00.

Okay, but isn't she living in the living room? Like, she sleeps in becky's room, but all her shit is in the living room, right? It's possible they're saying "You take up another entire room for yourself, you pay 1/3 of the rent" so they're doing it by 'bedroom', instead of by couple.

She has said the rent at the house is around the same as the apartment she shared with Destiny (which if IIRC was ~$1,100?), but also complains about paying too much for rent in the house. She never really addressed the rent percentages outside of the 66%/33% thing, which I think was just idiocy on her part missing the 1%.

It's been speculated on this thread previously that they are doing it by room, her and Becky technically have 2 rooms (bedroom + den) while Eric and Rickie have 1 bedroom. I doubt either will address the whole rent thing, especially with the (perceived) tension between Eric and Amber. Eric knows if he answers those comments on his channel, Amber will find out and likely make his brand new, full-time YouTube career even more difficult.

Not really sure how gifting someone a lanyard = having a job. I know lots of people that keep their house keys on them, especially people with masculine aesthetics. Also AL was on YN almost (if not) every day in December, a lot of the times in the middle of the day all while having Becky in the background of the videos. There was even some passive aggressive comments mumbled by Becky about "not working" but she never actually said she still was. That being said, she is a factory worker and I know a lot of factories close down for a couple weeks in December, so I guess we'll have to see.

What if AL made a deal with Necky and told her that if she makes videos with AL that she will give her a cut of the money she makes. Necky quit her job so she can make YouTube money and since it’s AL’s channel she is kinda Necky’s boss. Necky can’t end things with AL because then she would lose income. By being the only source of income for Necky AL uses that to get whatever she wants from Necky. Manipulation pure and simple.

If that was the case I'd say Beckster is even stupider than AL. God that would be such a terrible bargain.
