It's hilarious to me. They're so retarded that they'd rather piss away all their Christmas money and ruin themselves in the pathetic attempt to 'win'; it's like watching OPL going into credit card debt for stupid shit. Oh hell yeah it is. Phil is a repulsive slug that can easily inspire hate and rage due to his crippling personality flaws, but then it becomes the blackest of comedies when you realize he will die miserable and basically alone, no matter how much money these morons throw at him. It's one part traumedy, one part sleeze, and a million parts clownshoes.
