It's the standard speech, if he dont like it then it is not populare anywhere!

It's that and a little more. Phil doesn't have a social circle outside of his streaming and gaming, so his notion of what is relevant in culture is greatly hindered and slanted toward his own bias. Which is how you get, like he said, "I don't like Bond movies so therefore Bond movies are not relevant." Again, one of the huge drawbacks to living his life is being current on what is and is not relevant in culture.

I've gotta come clean everyone.

Not only is the escorts husband a "detractor" (according to KGhaleon)

But now I'm fred fuchs:

Seems like some people would rather make extreme jumps of autism than to dare ask DSP to prove his finances.

Are you gonna subtweet about me and send members to attack/harass me?
And most importantly, will you dedicate 40 minutes of the next sokast because of a twitlonger criticising that retarded clique? :story:

DSP has made a fuck ton of money for his taxes since he announced it in October(?). Maybe Eddy B or Soap Queen can tally it up but it's a lot.

Nah they're detractors too.

Google = detractors
US Government = detractors
Washington Government = detractors
Headphones = detractors
Patreon = detractors
PayPal = detractors
Escort = detractors
Escort's Husband = detractors
Escort's Network = detractors
Tax Attorney = detractors
Airlines = detractors
Game servers on day of major game launch = detractors
Comcast = detractors

Phil's own mods = detractors

DSP proved, without a doubt, that he is abusing his audience by constantly guilt tripping them, turning them into paypigs even though he makes around 10k$ / month.

His argument is that "you're not rich if you make a million a month and your debt is also equal to that."
No, he's right, that just makes him a drooling moron who should be placed upon legal guard ASAP.

I just don't understand how anyone can feel pity for a rich person who didn't pay their taxes. Phil is a fucking moron why would you send him money? His father must think he is an imbecile. "Hey dad I forgot to pay my taxes this is bullshit!"

I'm actually happy for Phil. Not saying he deserves the money or does not deserve at least some comeuppance for his choices, but I will always give credit where credit is due. He put some actual effort into his fundraising stream, played what his fans wanted him to play, was very interactive from what little I watched, and stayed committed to it. And even though he didn't hit the Patreon goal he is going to play both MGS games. If he puts as much effort into the streams going forward I actually think he has a chance of decent streaming career for what time he has left. Good on Phil, for what its worth.

Yeah, from what I saw of the last few pages, some people are getting a little too much invested in Phil failing. I mean, I'm hoping for him to fail but I'm not going to be salty if he does well, good for him. After all, we're only bystanders watching a shitshow. Everyone should chill out a bit and maybe give credit where credit is due.

He put all tips past 2k towards the goal because someone asked if he would. To be honest the stream was boring as hell, but he did seem actually thankful for the money at the end.

But who wouldn't after getting a little less than 3 k in one night?

Just gonna drink standing at the kitchen counter because it's less of a walk to the fridge

I wouldn't put it past him - after all he has moaned about having to walk "up to da AHWFFICE" before when an upload failed on a video. Hardest working man in america.

Honestly, it's win win for da detractors.

A. Phil weasels his way out of yet another self-imposed financial crisis, meaning he gets to make more cringe-worthy shtreems and give us more shit to laugh and shake our heads at. We'll sit back and marvel at just how dumb people are for continuing to support him, our brand of colored puzzle pieces will cause us to mock his brand of colored puzzle pieces. Inevitably, he'll dig himself a hole deep enough that his doughy ass can't roll out of.

B. He actually legitimately "fails" (has to bite into that terrible turd sandwich and move back to the OTHER HOME HE OWNS) due to not being able to overcome yet another self-imposed financial crisis, packs up and heads back to da cahndo, and had to take a job flipping burgers or some other menial task. It'll be a "victory" for da detractors cause the beast will have temporarily been slain. At this point, there's no way he would ever stop shtreeming at all, so he will never truly go away. Roaches will survive a nuclear blast, pig roaches are similarly resilient.

I think at this point, the general consensus is that people want him to fail. But, him continuing to not-fail is like a train wreck: we don't want to stare, but we can't look away.

I mean, I think anyone that provides as much entertainment as Phil, intentional or not, deserves to make ends meet. So I don't want to see the guy on the street or anything like that. He's going into 2018 on a high note, so he has a chance to make some changes to get the positive trend going. But. Its Phil... so....
