I guess the thought never occurred to Shawn that if hadn't spazzed like a tard on random peoples drawing claiming they only do it to hate on poor ol Mario, no one would have picked on him over it.

The real SolidMario hasn't been on Deviantart in some time and plans to stay away, and I know this because we've talk on Discord quite often.

Speaking of SolidMario, he started out like this guy, but he sobered up, learned to calm down and not flip his shit, and now is a very reasonable guy who never wants to get shit for doing dumb stuff on the internet.

I just wish Shawn here would realize if he quits feeding trolls and ignores the bait, he'll be fine, but unlike SolidMario, who has learned, I doubt Shawn here will.

I do have a DA account, and if Shawn would like to speak with me privately, he has my word I will be respectful and hear him out, but if not I understand.

The guy in question, after extensive private conversation with him (which will remain between us, as I gave my word) does not. In fact, he regrets posting anything that gave that impression and wishes no further association with it. The account I called out as a fake is run by an imposter trying to sully the name of someone who repudiated that very accusation and has given me no evidence they have lied so far.

If you can't take my word for it, fine, whatever, but I have no reason to disbelieve him.

If anything, he has taken my advice to stop doing things that would get the attention of sites like this and for having the wisdom to do that he has my praise for that.

All I advise is for Shawn to do likewise if he wishes this thread to die of disinterest.

Frankly, I could care less if you or anyone else think I was a fool to convince someone to quit taking bait. They did, have given no indication they have reneged on doing so thus far, and I choose to give them a chance as they have given me no reason to regret doing to this point.

Also, honesty compels me to admit Shawn reached out to me in private channels.

For the sake of his privacy (so long as he honors mine), I have advised him to stop taking bait, have explained how this site works, and how to get people to quit paying attention to him from here at least, and it's up to him whether he takes my advice, but I will not reveal any information he shared with me in confidence unless my own is betrayed.

Whether Shawn takes my advice I leave entirely to him to, but offered to hear him out at the very least, he accepted via PM, and I will not break his confidence so long as he respects my own, as I am only repeating here what I have said elsewhere publicly to other people.

I hate weening, not fun, and I don't break faith with people unless they do it with me, regardless who it is, and I will not compromise on that for anyone here for any reason, and if no one here likes that, then too bad, I have my conscience to answer to, not that of anyone else.

I reached out to SolidMario via private channels because he was getting a ton of weens messing with him and convinced him to cease doing things that would draw their attention, he did so, and has turned his life around quite a bit, and I'm quite proud he could do so.

I offered the same to Shawn, he was willing to speak to me privately, and I offered the same advice to get people to leave him be as I stated above and have done both publicly and privately to others, and I will not apologize for that.

If he still decides to reject that advice and do things to keep drawing the attention of this place, that will be his choice, and I will not stand in the way of the Farms should they continue to comment on it, but if he does, then good for him for being wise enough to do so.
