The only way I can see this being related is if this girl is the girl putting the decorations on the Christmas tree. There are plenty of people nowadays who are not tuned into social media or otherwise have accounts that are extremely dormant/private. Its very possible to purely use things such as WhatsApp and other messaging platforms to keep in touch with other people.

I know people that have had big social media presence in the past and then erased everything, not because something bad happened, but just because it can end up being a second identity. I know others that seem to have self confidence issues so they don't really go for it.

Most of the reason so many people use Facebook and its astronomical rise in userbase is generally accepted to be due to network effects (10% of your friends are users or some figure is all it takes to begin giant shifts in platform popularity). Some people just don't use social media all that much.

Further digging shows it's donated money and not really his earnings but some women may not care where money comes from for a guy who's earning close to 6 figures a year (if not more) with the his own place in a private community.
