For all the debts he has making 90K a year pretty much keeps him even. I doubt he will make that much on youtube next year as well.

That's the other thing. For YouTube income to be ~$45000 seems high. I would have expected ~$30000 tops. Since views are in the toilet even more compared to 2016. And ad revenue CRATERED, right? DSP never got muh answer from Machinima or Curse. 50% decline in CPM between December 2016 and February 2017! Remember that, guys?

I always took DSP at his word that he was suffering numerous overdraft near-misses and his finances were in mortal danger. Why did I do that? If he's telling the truth here, then that means we have to reassess years of prior assumptions about his income.

Can't find the video, but DSP claims (claims!) he was making 40% more money in mid-2014 than he does at present. And claims he made four (four!!) times as much money on YouTube in 2011 than he does now. Is he retarded and underestimating 2017 income? Possibly. But suggestions are piling up that say he has comprehensively lied to us over years, and is doing just fine. Sad!

Vamp of course, I wasnt there for all of it, came in at the end but from chat looks like he was at it for a long time fumbling around.

He somehow (magically) figured out how to break the fight using the grenade launcher, but used up 5 rations when Vamp started to immobilize him and he couldn't figure it out.

When he almost were out of health, he cried "I have to cheat, I don't know how to beat it".

If the high end estimates of what Phil made are true, then it would be likely he bought his house in Washington outright at some point. Its both impulsive and possible for him to have raised the money. It's also possible for him to have paid off the BMW, which would mean his current vehicle costs him little to nothing to acquire.

If high end estimates are true, he might have the condo, the house, and the car paid for by now. Which would shave off 3k a month in payments.

"I promise to beat the game legit" lasted all of 2 days I see.

95K a year but can barely pay his basic bills

Okay power level revealing storytime-

I make about 44k a year as a supervisor in a call center in PA. My education is typical, I have a BA in psychology and about half way through an MBA in Business process innovation (It's a meme concentration). I live in a very "posh" area in a good school district and my home, at time of purchase, was 100k. I used the VA home loan to move in with no money down. The VA home loan also protects veterans from inflated mortgage rates and certain penalties, like the penalty for paying a mortgage off early. I've made enough money to not only keep up on my mortgage but I'll have it paid off in a few years. This is why I don't believe a thing that DSP says when he states that he needs to pay his bills an he's struggling. No one is that stupid

What? he plays games?
I never would have guessed with all the fucking academy award winning drama that seems to happen on a daily basis.

He may as well just drop all the games completely and just do a prestreams each day.

I mean he probably would be better off financially too if he kept yapping about how life is hard for him for a few hours daily. Just sessions of that inbetween him reading off cheers. What could go wrong.

Fuck it just scrap the entire gameplay thing and make this a radio show. Fucking "King of hate's court" or some shit

You're neglecting to consider the potential expenses, if certain rumours are to be believed then it might explain where a chunk of that change goes

I think he has toyed with the idea of doing political talk etc at some stages.
Don't get me wrong it'd be just as bad as him playing video games, but he'd probably enjoy it a lot more, be happier every day and he'd probably make way more money too.

You do know you're talking about DSP yeah?
He is the dumbest streamer on Earth and I'm even including when CwC plays games on stream too. He's dumber than that.

This is why I would like to just sit down and talk with Phil for about an hour. I want to see the man behind the Gout, I want to see Phil Burnell, not DSP and not the persona he plays online.

That's probably part of what is so fascinating, he's actually difficult to have a real conversation with because he just blocks/bans anything he doesn't like.

I haven't played MGS2 in ages, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong. If I am remembering correctly, during the part where you get immobilized, all you have to do is duck when you hear Vamp throwing the knives. It's a pretty generous window, and it literally just involves pressing X a single time. I believe you can also shoot them out of the air and shoot the knife that is immobilizing you as well, but those are a little more involved than just literally pressing a single button.
