What are you talking about? Nothing turns on a woman more than hearing your man complaining about what strangers say about him over the Internet.

Edit: Also no doubt that he could hear what she was saying but just pretended not to hoping she would just walk off
 
Did he just get pissed off because people told him to stop talking so much? That's golden. I appreciate that he has learned from the past and instead of the "old Phil" who would have "told them to fuck off and do things my way" how he know understands to fluff their nuts with a meaningless, "I'll take it into consideration" before completely ignoring them and prattling on for an hour and half about his ever looming poverty.

They are very much so, even in dumb threads that have nothing to do with Phil. A lot of it comes from it being a small community that doesn't trust anyone new or echo their sentiment on any of the threads.
