Holy shit did they make Natsuki fat because she bakes cupcakes? Brings back memories of the "diverse" MLPFIM art where Pinkie Pie is always fat.

Not only is that 5 year old logic, it directly contradicts the game where it points out or at least implies she's short and thin because she doesn't get enough to eat.

And yeah, Niles isn't THAT dark. Plus why TF does Kana have these eyes that don't exactly resemble either of the Kanas' eyes in their dragon forms? They make her look more like these Awakening arts where Grima!Robin gets the Mark of Grima on their face.

Well, here's the thing. A while back, I posted a(n) (in)famous Voltron artist, who made the characters darker, uglier, etc. You can view the full post here, but here's a sample.

Here's a more current piece of theirs (note: this is after a lot of controversy about their art):

I'd like to add that this artist is 14. The first image is from when they were 13.
Regardless of how skilled they are for their age... it's depressing to see someone so young with so much skill completely buy into the tumblr kool-aid and throw away their talent to draw like this. I can only hope they grow out of it as they get older.

To be fair though, they're young. they still have time to room to improve and get off the crazy PC shit that tumblr feeds the impressionable youngsters these days /rates self optimistic

I'd be harsh on this art but like you said, the artist is 14...so it's pretty likely they'll find a better style than this typical tumblr artstyle.

I don't know if this is intentional or not, but this photo chain started out kind of okay then slowly turned into a horrifying eyesore.
