I've said it before, but I'm confident Mrs. Greer was one of those helicopter moms that always flipped her shit whenever he special ickle Russikins wasn't included by the other kids. The kind of parent that caused us to always give kids a trophy, even though their team lost every game. The kind of parent who raised Holy Hell any time her precious drool monster was teased or excluded and forced the school to make the other kids be nice to him and let him play with them. That's why Shit Lips thinks he's owed everything. Now that he's fucking up his life, that's why his family has been pushing him to drop this shit. They realized they coddled him too much and never taught him how to cope with the real world.

I think the fct that he found out rather definitively that it was an imposter helped. After all, this just means he hasn't had a chance to really contact Katy yet.

Yeah, I think if some white knight who shall remain unnamed hadn't spilled the beans we would be getting tons of videos and emails asking Allison to forgive him and give him a second chance with Katy. His delusions run so deep and his desire to be right in his fruitless pursuit of pop starlets that he would still believe it was all real.

I think it might be because of the perspective of the shot? He might just have his fingers curved up to hold his beard trimmings/pubes. Or maybe he just has really short fingers naturally. I think Moebius Syndrome can lead to issues with your hands and limbs but I don't know if that would extend to short fingers.

I'm pretty convinced that his "mentally ill trolls" thing came directly from hearing that over and over from his parents. Any time kids picked on him, laughed at him, or whatever, his parents told him to just ignore them because they're mentally ill. Now it's literally the only reason he can see that anyone would laugh at him; that, and "they hate disabled people", which is probably another one his parents used.
He's bounced back almost as though it never happened at all. Which, if you think about it... it wasn't really KP, or anyone connected to her, so for effects it didn't happen. In reality, he has gotten no response whatsoever to the care package he sent, either from KP or anyone associated with her. There are two ways you could take this: either they haven't given it due attention yet and they'll be getting back to you shortly, or they hate you and spit on all your hard work and dedication. And Russ wants to believe the former.

You know, I don’t think any of us have any clue how his parents raised him. We have witnessed multiple people try to reason with him. Many of them his real friends (at least they were). The one constant with this idiot is that he doesn’t listen to anyone.
We can’t in one post claim that he was affected by the actions of some but then claim that nothing anyone does will change him. He may have been coddled or he may just be mentally ill. Contemplating his stupidity makes sense. Why bother contemplating his parents involvement? Haven’t they had enough simply by raising him? Frankly, I stand by “it takes a mountain...”

Russell's always been willing to humiliate himself in his quests so I think that's the least of his thoughts. Like @Blue Jerkop and @gREEEEEEEEEr said, I wouldn't be surprised if a large part of him is happy that Allison was a troll because he thought he had blown it.

I'm merely speaking from past dealings with extreme narcissists with "special needs" like Dildo Saggins. They all grew up with over-protective parents (usually the mother) who coddled them too much and insisted their pwecious widdle baby be treated like royalty and insisted that the other kids be forced to play with them. As they grew up their parents never toned down or tried to teach their kids how to cope in the real world, so they became entitled, selfish, and had a bloated unwarranted sense of self-importance. Add that kind of upbringing with Shit Lips' obvious mental illness and you get the slack-lipped creep we have today. I could be wrong, but my gut tells me this is close to what happened.

Nothing personal, XYrichard, I would be a liar if I said I didn't laugh at some of the Allison transcript, and don't want to further shit up this thread with an argument.
The absolute defining characteristics of a lolcow, IMHO, are 1) little to no ability to self-reflect and 2) the continued effort to live their life in full view on the Internet! They may be trans, cis, exceptional individuals, Google engineers, disabled, het, LGB, e-beggers, paid artists, married, poly, divorced, SJW or alt-right, none of that matters... they are COWS, that is what matters.
When the average, reasonable person humiliates themselves in some way, whether Internet or IRL, they examine their behavior and try to make changes. Some of those changes can take a long time... but they improve and hopefully grow up into sane, rational adults. Lolcows are on an even sloooower path, oftentimes with absolutely no progress, and usually a lot of decline. They do NOT learn their lessons because "ooh, a bunch of shitposters embarrassed me on the Internet"... no they retrench. They find external things to blame for their problems. They retreat further into their fantasy worlds. Hell, did getting doxed shut up Jake Alley? No, he spergs more than ever, all fucking night, and still clings to his "pretty little girl" lie. Read that thread if you need some better understanding of the resilience of lolcows. Or Eden Belmont. Nothing will surprise you about Russell's quick recovery times after that...
Russell is someone who is generally slipping through the cracks... not crazy enough to get committed... not dangerous enough to be jailed... not poor enough to be homeless, but heading there... not likable enough to have friends who look after him... too weird and not Mormon enough for his family. Unless he gets serious professional help on a consistent basis, his life is going to continue to get worse in every way. Even psych help may not be enough. Maybe his parents will at least try to get him that help. I feel confident in saying, though, that almost nothing done by the posters on this board will "wake him up" and make him get his shit together.
And while it is sad, and I don't wish ill will on Russ... he is still an asshole.
