I was checking out TheKingofHateHD and came across so old ebay links of games he was selling back in 2010. They were in the description of this video:

So I decided what the heck, run them through the Wayback Machine and see if anything old screenshots come up and they did.

Both were sold on an account called thrunner: https://www.ebay.com/usr/thrunner
It sells comic books, statues, arcade sticks, etc. It currently has 6 auctions going.

In the video, Phil really seems like he's the owner of the account. Maybe he went through a third party, I dunno. Maybe somebody knows more information on this.

Pretty much right. Phil is the goal for autistic 20-30 yr old men who can't get a job, play vidja all day and have other people pay the bills. The difference is that his fans pay their government unemployment benefits to him so he isn't a basement dweller. He is the avatar for failure.
If I support DSP I cannot be a failure because he is not failing.
Really sad

Supposedly the reason Americans can't view the channel is Phil being Phil. In 2015, many YouTube uploaders got nudged multiple times by YT to log into old channels and click "accept" on new YT Red-compliant TOS changes that were waiting for them.

TOS changes that had to be signed off on before a certain deadline (October 2015 IIRC). Phil was made aware of it, refused to do even the slightest research, claimed ignorance of YT Red, and ranted about Ivy League bumblefucks etc. etc. Eventually deciding whatever YouTube was asking him about wasn't worth looking into. Repeated this sentiment after the final warning. His reaction when the videos on TKOHHD were lost to Americans and others?

Can't find that number on EddyB's twitter (I get like $1300), but thus far in the month of January, I have the following stats, as determined using overrustlelogs's chat logs of DSP's twitch and a python script that searches for the appropriate triggers:

I check my numbers by seeing how the leaderboard matches with my user cheer amounts, and it's generally identical to the cent, with a few exceptions caused by overrustle's use of UTC time zone. Because tips aren't shown in chat anymore, I have no info on those and I don't have any desire to watch the streams or videos to determine them (more power to EddyB on that one).

A reasonable estimate might be taking the cheers + subs money and roughly doubling it to get the total pre-fee take for Phil.

I don't intend on replacing EddyB, but I hope this is helpful for those who have been asking about it.

How does he unwind after yet another day of hating his job? He can't play videogames (except for pay to win mobile games) because his once favorite hobby has been ruined by his "job", which again, just allows him to barely scrape by. He can't go out and see movies because he apparently can't even afford that luxury, whether because of price or not being able to take time off. He can't hang out with friends, because by his own admission he doesn't have any. Family isn't an option either. All he can do is watch Netflix and wrestling late into the evening, alone. I guess he also has the comfort of his "authentic sauce" and even that is betraying him by infecting him with diabetes.

Oh, but sometimes he does get a few days off from the job that he hates/the people he can't stand but has to rely on for financial support. And what does he do during those days? Minimal cleaning around his house, not even enough to clear out an office. If we believe his GF story, than maybe he actually has a couple of good days where he gets to see another person. Otherwise, the only time he sees another human is when he's "exercising" which in DSP's world means going out to the store to buy food. Add onto all of that, but Phil also lives in constant fear and paranoia about detractors confronting him in real life, so even if he does leave his house, I can only imagine how paranoid he is. Actually, I guess that his another hobby of his. He spends a lot of time reading/watching sites that talk about how much he sucks, and how sad his life is.

Seriously, anyone that thinks Phil is lucky should just go back and look at his Thanksgiving day posts. That basically sums up Phil's existence in a nutshell. The truly unlucky thing is that, at one point, Phil was actually making good money from YouTube. If he had stuck with that as a career, he could have been one of those lucky few early YouTubers that actually makes a decent career. Instead, he wasted all that money and plunged himself into debt and his current crappy living situation. To make him even more unlucky, his inability to fail for so long makes it so much harder for him to actually find a different job once he does finally collapse. There's tons of people that try and be like Phil and make it big with YouTube/Twitch or whatever. They usually do it when they are young, waste some time on it, realize that you have to be incredibly lucky to make it a career and then go on to do something else with their future. If Phil had failed years ago, there's a chance he'd be able to transition into some other lifestyle, maybe his Dad or some other family member could have gotten him a basic job and he'd have enough motivation to actually get good at it to stay employed. But now, all he can do is cling to Twitch while failing to pay his debt, and spending the majority of the day playing games that he absolutely hates, putting another nail in the coffin of a hobby that he actually used to enjoy and take pleasure from.

According to the evidence he himself presented. The 'oh poor me' Thanksgiving vid was a lie. As to the 'oh poor me' act in general. We have little to go on aside from Phil's word. All we are fairly certain about is that he constantly cries poor while blowing money on all sorts of ridiculous shit and raking in a roughly high five to six figure salary. Personally I would not take Phil's stories about being destitute seriously until I see him under a bridge.

There is almost no denying that Phil's current goal of staying a douchebag ebegger has survived enormous odds. It has survived countless near misses, obstacles, enemies, and self inflicted stupidity that would finish any normal trajectory off a hundred times over. It is arguably a self destructive trajectory and who knows what lies at the end of it but it is almost miraculous in how it has endured.

It's not miraculous when you're willing to drop to any level to keep it going due to having not a single shred of dignity. Doubly so when you have about 150 hicks who will give up their autism bux for you due to either being fans for years or due to autismal spite for trolls. Triply so when you put off payments and abuse credit lines where possible to stretch shit out.

Phil's only lucky because he has no sense of fucking shame and no ability to plan ahead. These factors means he is willing to and goes further than most people in his boat would.

Very informative. Thank you so much! One thing, though. Cheer money means no fees whatsoever on Phil's part. And PayPal money after fees is variable. They take 2.9% + 30 cents flat from every transaction, and the sender has the option to cover the fee himself or push it onto the recipient.

Oh, the final number is definitely more complicated. These numbers are just meant to give a ballpark idea of about how much he's making. Trying to take into account the various fees (except for Patreon, which is 10% total) is an exercise in futility or, at least, not worth the effort.

Phil isn't a sadsack because he is poor, he's a sadsack because he has no friends. I haven't seen any evidence to suggest Phil spent Thanksgiving with friends or family, and not alone eating some hungryman dinner. We know he makes more money than he claims to, and that's part of why I argue that he's incredibly unlucky as opposed to lucky, because even with the money he's drawing in, he's miserable. That's one of the big things that has always made Phil a cow, how bad he is with money. If he didn't try and live a rich lifestyle, he'd be able to live pretty comfortably. As it is now, a lot of his money gets tied up into useless things that don't actually provide Phil any entertainment or happiness, like the second home he never uses, the brand new car that he barely uses, the VR systems that he never uses etc.

Just compare Phil's lifestyle to any other successful gamer on Twitch/YouTube. With people like that, one of the most common things people say is how lucky they are to make a living off of playing video games. And that's true, because they enjoy what they are doing. Phil does not. I genuinely believe Phil used to like gaming, but Phil doesn't understand what makes a gaming channel work in the present day. People watch other video game streamers either because they are incredibly good at the game, or because they have a great personality. We know that Phil sucks at gaming, and his personality is miserable because he's not playing games that he enjoys because he's too obsessed with his view numbers and whether or not he can upload things onto his failing YouTube channel.

I think the only joy Phil has in his life is binge watching Netflix/wrestling. As part of other hobbies/sources of enjoyment, that's fine, but when that's really the only positive he has in his life, it's pretty sad. It gets even sadder when you consider all of the things that he could be doing instead if he stopped trying to live a lifestyle that he cannot afford/pissing money away on things that don't actually bring him any happiness.

Had to step away from Phil for the last few months because the "escort saga" was so blatantly fake that I wasn't even sure if everyone was pretending to believe it to piss Phil off, or what was even happening, and everything was turning into a Mobius strip of autism.

He somehow managed to be shittier in 2017 than in 2016 when I thought he reached his all-time low. Can't wait until he manages to become the scum underneath the bottom of the barrel in 2018. For the record I'm banking on the new girlfriend to be either a third-world mail order, or recently kicked out of a homeless shelter for selling meth.

If it were 5 or 6 years ago Phil may have the chance of dropping the games and starting over doing something with wrestling, tv shows, or food. It is far too late to do such a thing now. Phil is tired, bitter, and doesn't have the drive to rebuild.

The phrase "enjoy the ride" is thrown around here, but you can always choose to get off when it isn't fun anymore. Phil however is stuck on that same ride and getting off isn't an option at this point. He can't even hold out hope for the ride to end because nothing good is waiting when it ends. Who would want to have to start over in the work force again at the age of 40? He is going to be like those former wrestling stars who have to work at Target. Hell maybe he will go around to conventions and we will get pictures of a sad, bald Dsp sitting at a booth with no line.

At some point he commented about how $1k he was given (a tip, I think?) would cover half of his taxes for this past year (2017). The B&O tax rate that would be the highest (and thus give the lowest income) is 1.5%. So you can do 2000 / 0.015 = $133,333 of annual taxable income. Now, this assumes Phil wasn't exaggerating his taxes owed. Early on, though, he said the back taxes owed were thousands but not more than $10k. So if you go with $5k and do the same division, and assume that's the taxes for 2014-2016, you get 5000 / 0.015 / 3 = $111,111. And that doesn't include Leanna's income from whenever she started working.

So yeah, Phil's probably making at least $90k+, if not $100k+.
