Meeting women online (We can safely assume this because fatty stated that she flew in to see him, and lives thousands of miles away) is a big mistake. How much of a loser can you be to not attract women in your local area? Washington is a big state and he can't a single normal woman that can tolerate him? Now I'm an eager beaver to see this new woman of his.

he also never goes outside so he can't really meet anyone. he's a caveman that's too afraid to leave his cave. unheard levels of social isolation. constant fear that people he sees in public might be trolls.

To be fair it's becoming increasingly normal to meet your partner online, even if they're somewhat local. Don't forget that Phil claims they met by CHANCE, indicating he met her not online but in public, for whatever reason. Probably a classic Phil lie, though

He went to a room, saw people talking and went "Woah there's people I gotta get outta here dood!" and left. Of course he found it shit, he wasn't even chatting in a game called VR CHAT. All he did was do his usual commentary of "Woah look at that"

Something you might have missed from prestream: according to Phil, at some point during their time in WA, Leanna called the cops because she saw what she believed was "credible threat" against their lives on Twitter.

I'm calling bullshit. There's no incentive to sit on this milkable moment either before or after the swatting. And he's had plenty of chances to drop it where he needed sympathy. It's a memory hole incident, like dog shit on his front doorstep.

I understand meeting girls online if you live in Nowheresville, USA, where every fifth girl is a cousin of yours or something. But Phil lives in a city of 100,000 people. Related to that: his food reviews are exclusively done on fast food. Boring! Find a lesser-known local restaurant and ask for a takeout tray. Then do a review on that. Do it in the car if you must. I don't watch DSP Tries It to know which McCholesterol burger is the best on the market right now. I watch to see a fat man bumble his way through eating slop, and offer needlessly sophisticated opinions afterward.

Yes. I want to see DSP go through normal people things, like going shopping, to the gym, etc in the same manner as he plays games. I've always wanted to see him start lifting and see just how bad he is at basic lifting stuff.

He claimed to be scared to death of someone coming up to him and shouting racial slurs, putting him in danger of a racism ban from Twitch. Was also scared of trolling. Frankly, I think his fears were well-grounded. Even if him getting trolled would be more fun.

The obvious solution would be to play VRChat off stream, and then if someone goes NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER, just mute that section of the video before upload. You could even play that as a Twitch VODcast.

Only problem is that this solution requires...

Be sure to bring a friend with you whenever you go meet someone you started talking with online. And make sure you meet in a very public place. Also, never ever EVER meet anyone you started talking to on KiwiFarms.

This is advice they used to give people 10-15 years ago when IRL meetups were a much bigger deal than they are now. It's still advice they give to single gay men, many of whom prefer anonymous hookups.

I've met a lot of internet friends irl at this point and had great experiences with it. Meeting internet friends irl is definitely not as unusual/unpredictable as it was 10-15 years ago but I would say that this advice is still some very important precautions for the first time.
