Why "troon" specifically, though? Is there any ""etymology"" behind it or is just a way to make "tranny" sound different?

Portmanteau of "tranny goon." It started being used here because a lot of the early Rat Kings (like Richard Jones) were troons in the original SA sense of the term. It sounded funny though so it just got used in general for the extreme, garish kind of tranny SA was known for.

Also, while it's almost always used in a derogatory way here, troons actually invented the word and described themselves with it on SA.

Likely because said people subscribe to a sort of right-wing background or ideology. It's no different from those on the Left thinking we must be alt-right just because we have a salt thread for Trump and a community watch thread that laughs at ANTIFA. The right-wingers that think we're leftist fall under that idea simply because some cows we laugh at are right-wing and because we have community watch threads on things like The Donald reddit.

This so much. We all vary on the political spectrum that in the end, we'll laugh at either side so long as you have someone that is being exceptional on the internet. Good example of it are alt-right furries and leftist furries.

We are whatever is bad to the cow in question. Think of it like this: we are a windmill and the cow is Quixote. We are just doin our thing while the cow acts like a crazy person.
I’m of the belief we can mock anyone regardless of left or right. Funny is funny.

Real talk: I think some people are so bored with their mediocrity and worthlessness that they (consciously or not) see getting featured on the Kiwi Farms as a life upgrade. Some standards, huh?

Of course that's just another hint that they're cows because instead of actually doing something noteworthy to get some legit notoriety, they instead would go about it by semi-self-doxxing themselves to get it started or doing the tired old "I hate KF so much, notice me, senpai" routine.

The ultimate confirmation of being a cow is someone like OPL, who has had his life and behavior studied for years down to the last detail (with something like 2k wiki pages on sonichu.com) and somehow fails to take any of the good advice given to him throughout the years.

I mean, it may sound weird to think of it that way but people pay top dollar for an hour a week with a shrink in an attempt that the psychologist will "get" them even enough to give off even a couple good life advices to them. Meanwhile OPL has an actual following that "gets him" and offered so much constructive advice and insights into his persona and history... and it went way over his head.

I know, he's actually autistic and he's been trolled to the point where he cannot see good advice from bad or whatever - I'm just trying to say that some people are so bored with their lives that they look at someone like OPL and actually think it'd be nice to have all that "fame and notoriety" themselves.
