Some of these people I think are just happy to get attention from Shoe, just to drive people to their sites/channels. Get their name out there, and the "Shoe-chan noticed me" is strong there.
How long can Greg last in a long distance engagement while publicly liking camgirls and traps on his main account? It's not like Shoe can easily find out if something happened when he's a thousand miles away. He could have had a different fangirl every weekend for a year, who'd find out?

Shoe is a league or two above Greg in terms of looks. She earns twice as much as him on Patreon and has nearly double the subs and twitter followers.
If they were secretly fucking and kept the engagement secret then there would be a chance of him stringing her along only to dump her. But he'd be risking a huge amount of damage to his channel if he was seen to do this publicly.

Yes and no, she gained a decent amount of fans before she started dating Greg, though there was a lot of overlap in their fanbases even before they were a couple. However now that they're together there are a lot of people who only know of her as "Armoured Skeptic's girlfriend".
