All current uterine transplant protocols involve using a donor uterus from the recipient's mother, delivering the baby by c-section ahead of full-term to avoid the woman going into labor (the uterus transplant is, like all transplant organs, not properly enervated and will not function correctly to expel the baby on its own), and the donated uterus is taken out at that time. It's a one-shot deal and they take the organ out fast because otherwise the rejection possibilities are just too dire. Since they already have to have the woman open to do the hysterectomy, c-section doesn't require a whole separate incision anyway.
