Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

I've also noticed a lot of the "muh historic medieval POCs" SJWs also have a habit of not factoring in how travel worked back in those days, or have a very poor understanding of it.
Well travel worked the same back then as it does now, I assume. Whenever you were having a stressful time in your classes at university in Kenya or India or wherever, your dad paid for you to hop on a plane and have a fun European vacation where you drank and stayed in trendy rental places. Right?

So what they're saying is they're going to rig the score.
It's not rigging if it's a non-white person who is therefore above criticism.

I've also noticed a lot of the "muh historic medieval POCs" SJWs also have a habit of not factoring in how travel worked back in those days, or have a very poor understanding of it. Since everything was either by horseback or on foot, and long journeys were incredibly treacherous most people didn't have the means of desire to travel great distances. So the only reasons someone would travel back then would be if they were a merchant looking to trade/sell their goods for the goods of a friendly neighboring country/empire, or people who for whatever reason were fleeing from something and/or needed to relocate. In both cases neither group is going to want to travel further than they need to, because the merchant isn't going to go out of his way to find buttfuck Bohemia when there's plenty of places that are much closer that will take his goods and he likely has a family back home to support, and medieval commoners did not have the modern luxuries of fast travel, modern medicine, or even just having a good source waiting at their destination and settled as soon as they were able to.

They find one example of a guy that traveled around and died somewhere else and suddenly half of Roman Britain was black. I don't understand how some people get their PhDs.

If only Marco Polo had died in Mongolia.

I've noticed whenever someone makes these arguments, they always use Europe as a catch all term for every single country within its proximity - as though those countries have interchangeable histories, geography and culture that they think they are experts on because they learned about the Black Plague in high school once. So then they use examples like the presence of traders on the Silk Road or ports in the Mediterranean from North Africa or the Middle East, or a one-off black/Moorish king or saint to prove that All of Medieval Europe Everywhere was at least 50% black. Because let's face it when SJWs say Medieval POC, they really just mean black.

In which case these people's sneering at the dev's explanations of it being historically accurate to Bohemia smells like them projecting their own ignorance of the country into the guy who actually lives there.
I'm curious, do the Asians and Arabs also make as much noise about this?

I'm curious, do the Asians and Arabs also make as much noise about this?
Not really. Asia and the Middle East have their own cultures and history to draw influence from so it's easy to find media. It's those damn white people who get inspired by Feudal Japan or Ancient China or Egypt or the Byzantine Empire or some shit that SJWs REEEE over.

Out of curiosity how many SJW's have a major in history? If you're gonna talk about history shouldn't you be at least somewhat qualified in the field?

For a social science, the history field is nowhere near as infected as sociology or anthropology. Probably because you have to cite your sources, and "my own experience" is not a valid source in most credible historical journals.

One of my history professors was into social justice -- the kind that talked about the poor in third world countries. He and his wife wrote a book about the death squads down in Central America. Really nice guy. His kind of "social justice" was the Catholic kind that the pope talks about. It's only recently that these idiots started polluting the term when they really mean "first world problems".

Social justice was objectively a good thing until very recently, just like it’s only been in the last few years when mainstream people would suggest free speech was bad, or that disagreeing with someone made you a Nazi.

The fringe left is trying to act like what they believe is accepted and unquestioned, when in fact their concepts are very recent and most everyone outside that fringe rejects their ideals. They claim to fight racism and nazism because those are old concepts and our culture has made up its collective mind about them, but what SJWs are really fighting is far more debatable and ill-defined.

It's your job to keep up with Tre.

Somehow, I don't remember interviewing for the position.

Historical credibility is not in the SJW vocabulary me thinks. I've seen quite a lot complaints being tossed around by fem-nazis and SJWs about Dunkirk (the Nolan movie) for celebrating maleness. It's utterly absurd. This piece in particular is extra silly. I do hope she dies from terminal cancer. Preferably yesterday.

Seems like we now should adapt historical events to suit their skewed feminist agendas.

Remember, gender-switching is the only way to break an 'established' movie mold. Anything less is not worth the effort. That's how the Ghostbusters remake was so successful!

(is anyone listening to these idiots anymore?)

Sadly it would seem so considering that Oceans 8, the all-female reboot of Ocean's Eleven no-one asked for, is still coming out. Fuck Hollywood and fuck gender equality. Men and women both have their strengths and weaknesses respectively. We're not supposed to have an equal playing ground, we are meant to play different societal roles. Forcing these stinky ideals on people is like throwing shit on walls. It won't stick, it bloody stinks and people will get worked up and pissed about it.

Of all the films to accuse of "celebrating maleness," she picked Dunkirk: the film about the utter helplessness of being stranded in a no-win situation, how the British government failed both their own and their French allies, the damaging psychological toll of fear and PTSD take on someone in the face of harsh conditions, and how a supposed victories are cold comforts in the wake of tremendous loss.

You just know this was written by someone whose never had to face any obstacles in their entire lives.

She could go watch other TV shows and movies, like Bomb Girls (2012-), Land Girls (2009-2011), My Mother and Other Strangers (2016) Wings (1927) (World War I, but who gives a shit?), Millions Like Us (1943), Carve Her Name with Pride (1958), Julia (1977), Sophie Scholl (2005), Female Agents (2008), A Woman in Berline (2009)...

There's a lot of stuff produced about women during WWII. Very good stuff, too. This shit is hardly limited to indy movies or Oscar bait.

To be fair, though, those trade routes were really fucking well established, and had been basically forever:

Here's some viking dudes with an Islamic ring, circa 1400

The Phoenicians would go to England to mine tin
https://books.google.com/books?id=W...page&q=Mediterranean-Briton tin trade&f=false

The Amber trade went due North

Here's an axe made of jade found in Britian, that was mined in the Italian Alps from 4000 BC

So while Josephus Buttfuck McDirtfarmus didn't go anywhere, the guy the shovelmaker bought raw metal from probably did. You also had guys like Ahmad ibn Fadlan, who went everywhere back in the 900s.

Would there have been a ton of African dudes just sitting around Bohemia? Nah. But it wouldn't have been too surprising for one dude in a major city to have a middle eastern wife or something, and to see people from North Africa or the Middle East passing through on a semi-regular basis selling things. But out in bumfuck nowhere? Nope.

And this is before we get into the fucking quagmire of what the hell "black" would even mean back then.

And this is before we get into the fucking quagmire of what the hell "black" would even mean back then.
I remember when I first moved here, I saw a movie where one of the characters complained about how "It's because I'm black, isn't it?" and I laughed, before I realized it wasn't a joke. "Black" here really just means "tan with black hair."

It will never cease to amaze me how these people's entire MO is to complain that they are dismissed and otherized unfairly because of shallow identity characteristics that shouldn't matter, but they feel entitled to turn around and do it to any group of people who is inconvenient for their power grab.
