Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Kinda funny how the FBI was created mainly for the purpose of cracking down on communists, anarchists, black people and immigrants.

"Guys we need to listen and believe. Except when believing would make Trump look good, then we need to side with the law enforcement officials that scoffed at rape accusations and refused to do anything."

Nah, Resetera is hypocrites even when it comes to celebrities.

Huh, who knew the FBI was actually incompetent? It's almost like people who have a clue have been saying this for decades.

I'm pretty sure too that people who would be otherwise "alt-right" have been saying the FBI and CIA are incompetent and corrupt for years. It's like these braindeads just discovered it because MUH TRUMP. :story:

That moment when some dickhead I've never heard of calls for 8 year olds and 12 year olds to get guns out on the streets...

If this is the Deep State then I'm sorry to burst the bubble of anyone expecting some horrible end-of-the-world scenario, but I think we've got pretty good odds. These people seem more likely the types to kill themselves with their own drinking straw than they are the types to compose and orchestrate some world-spanning shadow government. The only part that I find upsetting is that people this stupid held so much power in so many highly-placed positions in the government. The fact that we're governed by people this jaw-droppingly idiotic is the only legitimately disturbing part of this "Deep State."

The "Deep State" is a bit of a /pol/ meme. What we're actually seeing here is more akin to a battle of globalists and soft nationalists who want to roll the clock back to the 80s when there was just enough global trading thanks very much but we'd like to keep our nation strong instead of watching all our wealth get pissed away into Asia. Basically the "winners" of globalism are suddenly up against actual wealth redistributors, only they're not lefties, they're right wingers wanting jobs for their constituents that aren't utter shit.

As we've seen from the ground troops, most Globalists are nation-hating mouth breathers who tend to kick up a fuss then wonder why things keep going to shit, they're overwhelmingly city dwellers with zero sense of strong identity or loyalty to nationhood. Quite a good quote from PM May is "If you claim to be a citizen of the world, then you are a citizen of nowhere." This is what these people represent, they're semi-cultural voids unable to establish decent or deep roots, following every single which way and next fad.

Globalism has been very comfortable for some city dwellers, and the mega-rich have been getting richer and richer under globalism as they've been able to cut their expenses and outgoings by astonishing margins as a result of near continues program of outsourcing. Now, some states have always historically done well out of global trade (the UK is actually one of them, regardless of the whinging from someone who screams "FATCHA!" every time) but there's clearly been an ideological drive to ensure that nation-hood and the very fabrics of modern society are replaced with relatively mindless corporatism and consumerism, the bottom-line of the "big ticket" figure of GDP has become the only goal, rather than focusing on the per-capita number, which is in reality far more important in the scheme of people being able to live and feel like they are progressing. Stopping that progression (by letting globalism go too far) is what results in people like Trump and the Deplorables wave coming in and wrecking shit. Exact same happened with the rise of UKIP and Nigel Farage, and he never even held any office in the UK.

This was recommended for me on YouTube (I know it's Fox news I couldn't find anything else covering this) looks like the parents of the victims aren't happy with the Democrats

"A gang nobody has heard of outside of Fox News."

Quite stunning to hear that MSNBC hasn't heard of what is perhaps one of the largest and most prominent criminal networks on the planet which in just under 30 years has gone from a small gang in Los Angeles to gaining a presence or safe trafficking routes in 47 US states, two Canadian provinces, 5 central American nations and are now even colonising Spain.

They're effectively the distribution arm of several Mexican Cartels but it's ok guys. MSNBC's got us, they don't exist unless you're a dumb Fox News watcher.

Well I remember that FBI report that mostly everyone ignored. Wikipedia deleted the article since "not enough sources covered it". People will believe what they want to believe.

Problem is how much of this is taken as it is... A lot of American and British Words are traded and trasnfeered back and forth across from the UK and US. I've noticed that more americans refer to the "Car boot" and there's more "railway" companies these days and references to railways as opposed to railroads. Shadow Government could be just the people already in some sort of post picked for her cabinet and other appointments when she'd have won, some of whom were probably first tapped a decade ago.

The UK has a Shadow Cabinet ready as an effective government in waiting, after all.

There was show in the UK that basically ran around the joke that unelected ministers and officials had policy that ran regardless of who was in office. Pretty sure that's the case with every modern government.

The joke of that show was that those unelected ministers were the only capable people and the only people thinking in the long term but the reality is probably child sex slaves and corruption.

Yes Minister and Yes prime Minister did this fantastically.

To the point the writers would have ministers approach them and say how well they portrayed civil servants but their portrayal of ministers was rubbish.

Before senior civil servants approached them and said how well they portrayed ministers but their civil servants was off.

This joke then later played out in real life with (then) Education Secretary Micheal Gove who had to repeat himself multiple times to get programs cancelled and ditched before launch, with his civil servants saying things like "Of course, I'll merge the policy into this proposal" and "I'll re-write it for the relaunch, then." Rather than ditching the policy and program altogether.

Any good thing that happens is in spite of Trump, and any bad thing that happens is because of Trump.

At least, that's what the left seems to genuinely believe.

Pretty much. All good things that happen during a Democrat presidency are the direct result of that president's actions as if he ordered it himself, all bad things that happened are either the fault of the previous Republican president or America in general. And then it flip-flops.

In their worldview literally all good things flow from the Democrats and the Republicans are the source of all evil. While most of them avoid saying this outright lest they look like a Chandler or a Dobson, they certainly seem to live by that view.

The Federal Reserve just fined Wells Fargo $185,000,000 dollars, froze their asset growth and removed four members from their board of directors, but sure. I'm certain the panic in the stock market today was all Donald Trump's doing.
Hmmmm. Where I work had some jobs from them. Hope they got paid already.

That'd probably just account for the lack of money going into the stock market on its own. Never mind that the price of oil dropping again has caused a few companies to tumble.

Considering how much the market has risen, a 4% drop in a flash crash is perfectly recoverable and long term there's way more cash coming back to the US for investment.

Mind, it's also currently happening globally, with the UK's FTSE100 falling 3%, HSCEI down 4.7%, Nikkei down 5.7%... seems to me the policy of artificially holding interest down is now causing rapid inflation and a panicked sell off to cover it.

Trump didn't cause the stock market to rise but Trump is the reason it crashed.
I think by boasting of high stock indexes as an achievement, Trump has exposed himself to criticism in the inevitable event of them going back down, it was his luck that it all went down in a single day, rather than dragging out a bit more.

The stock markets are just far too volatile in nature to use them as political ammunition, and if/when the Dow Jones climbs up again to dizzying heights, the leftists will be the ones to eat humble pie, not that they would acknowledge that anyways..

Leftists are always gonna REEEE of course, but Trump brought this one on himself IMO.

Given the Dow lost a cumulative 54% from 2007-2009, a dip of 4% is fine and should be considered a paper loss, and a sign for people to start investing again (buy low).
