That's really messed up. It's obvious that Mulberry had tried to sabotage Limerence's image because it loosely resembles Yandere Simulator. It's not like the concept of Yandere Simulator is patented, though.

He still think his first draft horseshit is gold due to his malignant personality and is using the fanbase as an excuse to not throw away the utter garbage that is his non-game and starting from scratch.

Remember a realperson Dev interested in making a good game would be willing to acknowledge they fucked up and do this exact thing I mentioned if the game has proven to be nearly unworkable. The code is an Italian wedding feast, the character concepts are not even parody tier and makes actual Japanese people sob, there's more stolen shit in the game than there is original content, and it's been in non-alpha non-game status longer than Tarn Adams took to make a fucking playable game of Dorf Fortress starting from Slaves to Armok.

Start fresh with the code, use your 22k to hire one code monkey, and refocus on the core needs for the concept Alex. Unless you do want to prove that you care more for the attention you get from people less than half your age than you do actually making a game.

The idea of all of the members of a club with the same hair color is unrealistic even on anime. A club having the same clothing style isn't that bad, take for example Bully. But basically he's saying 5 people with the same hair and eye color were born with the same interests and joined the same club at the same school.

Even though the concept was blatantly stolen from Scooby Doo, at least the Photography Club members looked different and with (again, stolen) diverse personalities. He even made a a video about them, wasting at least a whole day, to then scrap the concept to create the ganguro subgroup + the council members. And oh surprise, all of them are girls. Of course you need more waifus to add to your collection, Alex.

Unbelievably, Mei actually has a small but dedicated following behind her. When Druelbozo was working on the game, he made a body reference for her which, surprisingly, gave her the slightest hint of personality. Now, whenever he changes her hair, the fandom throws a fit because her new hair 'doesn't suit her personality'.

Can't say the same for Ryusei. Alex just threw glasses on him to make him 'smart' since he's a teacher's pet.

I'm rather impressed how hard Alex is Dunning-Kruger'ing here on the school bit. Remember he's a NEET who's been homeschooled since he was basically out of Elementary, so he honestly can't claim to know shit about how schools work or even bother to talk about it and learn from others. But due to his anticompetence and insistence he knows best, he thinks that what he sees on Japanese children shows written by adults who remember fashions and shit from like two decades ago is perfect research material. This is despite how he's been told far more than once (at least his arbitrary 10 times) that his school would be the absolute ghetto'est of ghetto schools in Japan due to his complete lack of understanding when it comes to the culture.

Literally at this rate, every person in this thread could make a more functional game. Hell, at least one member has made a game like this at the same approximate level of development as Alex's dumpster fire at 20x his speed.

I, thank goodness, never experienced a stabbing at my school. However, I did experience suicide. A janitor whose wife supposedly slept with someone else hanged himself in our schools office before anyone arrived.
Let me tell you, homeschooled fellow, the atmosphere was beyond bearable that day. Since it was an all day kinda school where students had to stay long because their parents were working all day, we didn't have to leave, welp, we had the option, of course, but it's not like the whole school closed down this day.
And, just like the person said, the next day, it was actually rather normal again. Of course, everyone still thought about it, but sleeping clears your mind and makes you think ''Okay, that happened. That was totally fucked up. He was a good person. But I can't think about that, I have to stop and focus on the things important to me.''
Surely, the people who worked with him were screwed even weeks after it happened, but you may get the point by now, Alex.

You must know everything about the atmosphere of such events, being a homeschooled guy.


Also, Alex still thinks that he's only taking one day off per month.
