hey, I've been lurking this thread for a long time and finally made an account. I remember when I discovered this game through let's play videos and seemed like an interesting concept but not my kind of cup of tea.

This game was kinda popular for middle school girls, my sis used to talk nonstop about how cool is it and how much her friends loves that game but now they have stopped playing due to the lack of updates and how buggy it is. This led me to discover this thread and wow, I've been smh about how incompetent Alex is with the progress of that game.

I don't have a lot of expectation how this game will be like in a long future, maybe it's never going to be finished or will be a messy disaster ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On topic with the portraits, Hana's wrist looks weirdly bent imo. I tried making that pose myself and it felt completely off and wrong. And besides, her making her original pose was fucking gold. If only all the other girls had some sort of pose like that, such as a rich student rubbing their fingers together (Most Japanese don't understand that it means 'money'). It would have given us little hints towards their personalities.

Really upset about this, tbh. Those are some pretty great name suggestions. And it's not too late at all to give the rivals new names, the game isn't even a fucking demo yet! I would MAYBE understand if a lot of dialogue and voice acting work had been done, but there is barely work on Osana, let alone the other 9 rivals.

The damning thing is that dialogue and voice work is the easiest thing to fix in a game by far. It's actually fairly easy, especially in non-alpha builds like this garbage fire, to swap out the data. All it'd take is redubs from the VAs(thus using the majority of his volunteers for once) and some text changes, which in competent games are stored away already in their own section of the game files. It's as easy as swapping one .MP4 for another.

Someone should make a version of YanSim set in the US, where the high school setting is a town in California, all the characters follow American stereotypes (weebs, rednecks, all the weapons are replaced with guns, etc.) and have names like Hill Billy, Weeb Aboo, and Slutty Pedoteacher.

I would love to see a hikikomori's attempt at making what I think should be proudly called Muricana Nights. You play Annie Lovejoy, who desperately wants to go after star Quarterback John Doe. But them damn dirty skanks want to sink their claws into him, and you will have to do anything to make your American Dream come true.

Themes should include: Brooklyn accents, Texas and the South, and cheesburger related homicides.

This is godawful. Like, worse than fanfiction awful. I feel he is trying to make shounen anime kind of scene, where a badass person comes and beats multiple jobbers only to lose to an even stronger badass but it doesn't work because the fight is "lame" and i don't like any of these characters. In fact, i like Aoi less now that i know she is a psycho incapable of feeling pain.

Hello, everyone. I've been lurking for quite a long time, watching this actual shitstorm swirl out of control, and I am now ashamed to say I ever cared for this trash "game". Back when I liked the game, I thought Alex was a pretty chill, humble guy, albeit with a strange penchant for underage women's underwear. Then, the whole e-mail shit happened and upon further research, I now know him as the whiny bitchbaby he is today.

Also, I'm no connoisseur of the rules in Japanese high schools, but wouldn't it be looked down upon for a dignified member of the student council to bust in a club room and start punching the members? I know you love your women in submissive positions, Alex, but. Just a thought.

To add to this, Mulberry also wrote “fuck limerence” on the girl's hip. There was a bunny under it and Mulberry tried to claim that it meant “fuck like bunnies.”

I could definitely see Alex asking her to draw that. Then again, knowing how desperate she is to have his attention - she probably just did it to impress him.

I wonder if she'll ever make fan art for Love Me and Seasons of Love.
