I really would love to point out, being someone from a family of Arms Dealers and a retired Airsoft Hobbyist aside, that the Desert Eagle is an oversized weapon that has, other than one variant of it (the much smaller .357 version), has never, and will never see actual military service. It's too heavy and bulky, and for the same size and weight someone could carry a Submachine Gun. Its airsoft version, if you can believe it, is somehow even less practical, since all airsoft weapons are the same approximate "caliber" (6mm by default) and a gas-operated airsoft pistol like that bulky Desert Eagle he loves so much has literally no advantages over a more conventional design that weighs literally less than half. Hell, a decent-quality spring M92 has a higher average velocity, costs a fraction as much, needs no green gas, and weighs about a fourth, with the only drawback being a need to manually cock it.
That gun is literally the perfect analogy for Jace as a whole; an overglorified, overdesigned weapon that is grossly outperformed by one a fraction of its size, weight, and cost.
