I know you think it's funny, buy you've just given @Dynastia and the World Class Wrecking Crew the last 4 digits of your phone number. When he/she/it turns full on troon after Zombie Karl Marx wins the 2020 election, he/she/it has a means to verify your identity before your inevitable apprehension and "reeducation."

when you spend more time and effort concocting a vividly imaginative fever dream fanfic of Trump's Fascist America than full-time Kekistani memesters

Some notes:

1. D.C. streets can support the weight of armored vehicles, and they do have specific tracks for road travel compared to terrain in order to not fuck up the streets.

2. If troops were marching in D.C., since there is only one actual unit close to it (The Old Guard who guard Arlington cemetary), then all the soldiers marching would get paid temporary duty (TDY) pay. Given that D.C. is super expensive, the TDY, free hotel, and airfare to D.C. for a week would definitely be worth it.

3. Every military on the planet does huge parades down capital streets except the US.

Then this guy goes off the rails about bikers smoking meth and evangelicals grabbing pussies...idk. Dude seems to have a mental condition.

It’s a shame really. I love parades and I’m sure with the military budget the US has I’m sure it would be quite the event.

Really a majority of the cost is in paying the soldiers, feeding, and lodging. Everything else is done via railway. 2 days to railhead vehicles on and off the tracks, then rehearsal day, then execution, then two days to rail all the vehicles back to their home stations. It'd take a week or possible a week and a half to execute.

I can understand not wanting to do something like that, it really does feel a little "third-world tinpot dictator-y" but let's all be honest, the reason it would offend these people would not be because of any actual association with dictatorship but because the American military is supposed to be treated like some shameful, disgusting, dirty thing, used at the whims of a Democrat President, never used by a Republican President, and spit on either way.

The only reason Trump's doing this is to grab his balls at the French.

Back in April of 2017, dumbass congressman Adam Schiff fell for Russian prank call about Putin having naked blackmail pictures of Trump. (The music's annoying, but I'm not sure where Mark Dice got the raw audio without the music.)

Also another Schiff video about FISA (and more, like Chuck Schumer) that Mark Dice found I just want to share very quick.

It always puzzled me that the regular US citizens have a major appreciation for the US military, but never had a single big parade during Memorial Day, or even just a general appreciation point and parade for people to be able to watch on TV from the Nation's Capital.

Heck, the UK has both the Remembrance Sunday procession down Whitehall and the Trooping of the colour, which usually has a military procession from Buckingham Palace to the Horse Guards Parade Grounds via The Mall. Never mind the world famous (and globally minded) Edinburgh Tattoo, which includes combined military marches down through the streets of Edinburgh several times a day.

Even on top of all that we've got Armed Forces Day (has been going since 2008 ) who's main site and parade rotates every year, with the Picturesque Seaside town of Llandudno having the honour of the official parade this year.

Unless you live near a military base the most a non-military American will see of the military is the occasional younger soldier on leave who might wear his bdus out and about because he thinks they are cool. You might walk by a recruiter's office or maybe see some equipment or tanks going by on a train on rare occasion, but it just doesn't happen often.

Institutionally the American military isn't used or staged domestically, not because Americans hate the military, but because it just hasn't really been done. When large scale exercises take place in unusual places, it launched tons of co piracy theories all over about fema trains and death camps. Jade helm?

This is a hilarious play by Trump to be able to say that the left hates our troops and doesn't want to allow them to show how great they are. Like most things he's done, the left will play into his hands. Again.

Ya'll can't even leave the house without having an anxiety attack and you're gonna claim you'll lay down in front of a tank?

"It's just like a big truck, right?"

Not like we don't out and out utilise tanks for psychological warfare or anything, they're big terrifying grumbly messes if you're going up against them. In a charge the ground shakes, the noise can be heard long before you see them and never mind if they come out of a fucking smoke screen.

It's great because every other state on the planet, and most democracies do it to some degree. Even the Germans since 2014.

I think it's going to be hilarious because they're going to go out there with signs and placards saying "NO DICTATORSHIP" and shit like that.
