One of my history professors was into social justice -- the kind that talked about the poor in third world countries. He and his wife wrote a book about the death squads down in Central America. Really nice guy. His kind of "social justice" was the Catholic kind that the pope talks about. It's only recently that these idiots started polluting the term when they really mean "first world problems".

Social justice was objectively a good thing until very recently, just like it’s only been in the last few years when mainstream people would suggest free speech was bad, or that disagreeing with someone made you a Nazi.

I just don't see the need to label yourself "social justice" if you have empathy and a developed sense of right and wrong. So.... an average person? It's like being a narcissistic sociopath telling everyone it's okay because they follow Christianity so they won't write messages in their blood on the wall and eat their brains, you can trust them.

Yes. A painting from the late 1800's did not live up to their leftist asinine societal views. A painting by one of the best known and recognized artist of the era.

I’ve known at least one person who has referred to herself as a Social Justice Warrior unironically, and while we have stated the reasons why time and time again, I still find myself begging the question “What are you trying to prove?”
