That's really contradictory of them because they're all preaching about inclusiveness now.SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Acceptance) was one I REALLY liked when I heard about it, but the more irritating types shot it down fast. Something something 'inter-community unacceptance' and 'too inclusive'.
I like the LGBT term because it's old school and simple and people who actually do need help won't know or identify with what the fuck all those other letters are. Older people and those who don't have access to the internet still know what we're talking about, too.
If a parent actually believes their kid saying they want to be the opposite gender, they don't know how simple children actually think. 99.7% of the time, they just want to express their femininity and masculinity more. It's not that hard, no one's telling you you can only shop in the women's section at Target. It's not illegal to step foot in the men's section, there's no laws. You're not gonna get fined or have a gun pointed at you for doing so. These parents' idea of progressivism is just extreme conservatism with a rainbow slapped onto it.
