No worries, I figured you were speaking broadly. I tend to get bored of Phil off and on as well. It's like a sitcom, as some have noted. There's always something going on but it's never overly original. But you can catch an episode and have a laugh. Occasionally there'll be a big plot twist just to make you think something could actually go down, but nothing really changes. I think if the original fap incident and Project 7 pledge fraud didn't end Phil, it's unlikely anything short of a health disaster will. So people hyped for that are going to be disappointed.

Scenario A: She pushes for marriage so she can stay, and he is hesitant. She holds the power at this point because she could easily blackmail him, so him trying to force her to sign a prenup won’t even work. They break up and she gets sent back and all the dirt comes out at that point.

This is not how a fiance visa works. If that was the case, Phil was the one who initiated the process - filled the forms, paid the fees, etc. He would know that once his soulmaid steps foot in US soil they have 90 days to get married.

I don't believe she's a mail order bride. Phil doesn't have the patience to play a video game, I doubt he'd have what it takes to wait an average of 7 months to get the visa.

Not particularly well. The guy had to get smashed to clean out a room (an activity that realistically took an hour) and regularly posts drunk on Twitter about "the deep state" and how it's out to get him (meaning he's been sitting around thinking about it).

. . .this new chick will only exacerbate the issue honestly. As many have said, this is a stopgap to get over losing his first long term girlfriend; worse still he's clearly not into it beyond what it does for his ego and the practical benefits of having a live-in maid. Tack on that this woman is in such a situation that moving in with Phil after a few months of "dating" and you have a situation where Phil is going to be in a worse state mentally in a year than he is now.

No doubt his finances will be fine barring any colossal screwup on his part, but there's not much gas left in the tank. Fast approaching 40 and this shtick can only go on for so long.

This guy suffers from depression like Scrooge McDuck suffers from being poor.

I know people who are depressed, who take help from psychologists, who take medications against it. I experience and understand why they tick like they do and how that's not part of their personality, but a serious mental issue.

Phil states he has depression. I don't believe him. Someone with that issue wouldn't insult people on a daily basis, get angry and confrontal about 1st world problems and wouldn't have an ego so high it would make Mount Olympus jealous. Nonono, Phil has some mental problems but the ONE he is searching for that fits his narrative is simply:

Fear.
He fears that he couldn't hold his lifestyle forever and that would be true. Youtube apparently sucks and won't exist forever. Also Twitch won't exist forever. And nobody guarantees that there will be a future streaming-plattform where you can get money (and will Patreon exist forever?). However as we've seen: Phil is able to force-jump his way to every plattform he desires. So maybe his problem has more to do with his age?
Who wants to see an OldFuckPhil play videogames? How is his plan for the next 5-10 years? He has no Plan B, and time flows very fast the older he gets. It's also very unlikely he can get back in a real job. Everything he did as a job and learned about business is waaaayyy too far in the past so his accomplishes are nearly meaningless for employers. Talking meaningless shit about videogames by being shit at playing them: Also meaningless.

So all he can hope is leaching money from creating cheap meaningless content and that his fans are dumb enough to support him until he dies of old age.

Went to take a look at his views, and as always they are a pile of garbage. What stuck out was his PUBG videos are the worst of all. depression likes to make people hide it away, so the anger is usually hidden away too, but regardless it's not long lived

phil just keeps going and going and going and doubles down, he doesn't snap back to sad.
phil has a huge ego and thinks the world owes him a lot for being a great inventor and sportsman
he fancies himself a renaissance man, and is pissed the world evolved and moved on.

I'm watching the old DSP Tries VR video and while I'm usually a fan of Phil being belligerent in how much of a fuck up he is, this is the first time I've ever seen him actually act retarded.

The TIHYDP of Sunshine was finally finished, and I think Phil is just getting worse and worse every year he keeps playing.

The constant fucking whining and moaning, the utter self-praise when he does something he perceives as difficult ("I never want to hear anyone say I'm bad at video games ever again!") and the pathetic blaming of the game itself when he just can't do a segment ("Worst fucking game ever! It just doesn't work!") yet somehow failing to connect the two to finally admit he's just an average doofus who isn't good at this gaming stuff. The fans wanted him to play this game, and he absolutely shit all over it. Especially in this day and age when Mario Sunshine is so popular among speedrunners, this kind of toxicity isn't going to do him any good.

He mentioned he might want to do a playthrough of Mario RPG because it was one of his favorite games he played a long time ago. That isn't an easy RPG to clear. It's going to be a lot of excusing and blaming the game for being "old and outdated."
