Not only is he a faggot, he's completely wrong.

:offtopic: In what scenario is a cop allowed to kill someone that is different from anyone else? Cops don't have their own special laws, they follow the same laws as the rest of the country. I don't know of a single first world country where what Palcto claims is true.

Bitch please. Even with your dwindling fanbase you're still getting over $4k a month, which is almost a $50k annual salary. I know people with families, with kids, that would kill for a wage like that. You don't deserve a paycheck that big with the quality of work you've been giving the last 4 years.

How long does Alex claim to work on the game every day again? I mean, I've heard claims that he works 10 hours a day at some point, but other times, I hear that his workday is 12 hours.

If his workday is 10 hours long, I don't really see how his life would be utterly destroyed. He'll still have 5-6 hours every day of free time that he can use to, I don't know, not be a shut-in. Even if it IS 12 hours daily, then he still has 3-4 hours of freedom each day. Then again, he considers checking his email to be "working on the game", so 3-4 hours is a VERY conservative estimate. Of course, he has one day off every month (which he spends streaming), "omg-my-life-sucks-so-I-should-add-easter-eggs" days, and two-week vacations that he takes about once a year (that he spends STREAMING).

My point is, the game certainly isn't destroying his life - it's the fact that he doesn't DO anything except sit in front of a computer.

He keeps claiming 10-12 hours a day for sympathy.

A YanSim video popped up on YouTube for some reason and I realized that it had been quite a few months since I'd been here or thought about Yandere Simulator.

It's sort of comforting to see that nothing has changed. No matter what happens in my life, Alex will be whining about how hard he works while accomplishing nothing. There will still be a cancer of blind fans who can only worship him. There will be the same awkward videos where he rambles about something he might add someday. Alex drags everything around him into a timeless vortex.

I'd say that this will go on forever, but based on his decline, I don't know how much longer Alex will last.

Unlike a lot of you guys, I actually don't mind that he streams a couple hours each day. As he's said, people deserve a bit of free time in their lives. (But it's pitifully sad how he uses it—the only human contact he ever experiences is through a computer screen or the scraps his terrified parents pass to him under his bedroom door.)

Anyway, I do agree with the streaming complaint for one reason: that's the only progress we've seen him make on anything the last year or so. We've seen steady 3 hour streams each night, but he has nothing to show for his (so-called) 12 hour work days.

Doesn't he realize that even if he did work for 12 hours a day, the amount of development progress he's gotten out of it is woefully inadequate?

I don't mind if he streams either. It's him bragging/whining that he works 70 hrs/wk despite not having good results to show off that schedule that I think is :autism:. The funny part is that he's totally compromising his own efficiency (and health) by working more than the average. The reason most people stick to 6-8 hrs/day, 40-50 hrs/wk is because that's longest the average person can focus on a job before their productivity starts to degrade significantly. There's actually a neat paper written by John Pencavel from Stanford that demonstrates this with factory workers.

Of course, Alex is so desperate to flaunt his allegedly harder workload that he's never going to change it, which will only make the job that he's clearly growing to hate even harder on himself. You reap what you sow.

:offtopic: I also don't mind that he streams, but I feel that if he went outside more it would do wonders for his mental state. Another issue of mine is how he conducts himself on these streams. The comments he makes/the way he acts when someone voices an unpopular opinion in the chat.

Also, it's fun to give him shit regarding his streaming habit since he tends to chimp out when called out on it. As long as it's limited to Kiwifarms and not bothering him directly

What about going outside and stop being such a whiny little cunt about everything? Hell, if I would sit on my computer 24/7 without any natural light since who knows how long I sure as hell would be depressed. It‘s not the game that makes you depressed Alex, it‘s because you haven‘t seen real sunlight since probably a decade.

I can imagine most supporters don't know who Yandev really is outside of Youtube.
Aside from the ignorant ones, others probably continue supporting him because they are just as delusional as Palcto and Mulberry and believe everything he says. They would still defend him even if he said "I work 100hs a day".

It's weird that this game attracts so many delusional people. I can understand if they're 14 year old kids but the two I mentioned earlier have more than 18 right? I also remember that one that defined herself as "ephebophile"... the list goes on and on.

Jesus, what a giant faggot. I know having a 900+ page Kiwi thread along with some other people who complain about your game on other media sites can be tough and a bit harsh, but there’s a REASON why so many people are complaining about him and this game and criticizing a lot of it’s aspects. And instead of sitting back to rethink some of the development choices he’s made and how people criticize him for it, he just whines like a bitch and immediately disses people off he thinks are “haters” and “shit talkers” like MaddieNolan, even though she actually had some useful shit to say.

Christ, seriously, how the fuck do people still support and see any good in this whiney cunt?

Because they're actual children who legitimately don't know any better yet. It's funny in a way, since Alex will be the person they get important life lessons from as they start growing. Namely the life lessons of how not to live or conduct yourself with others; how you should base your opinions and feelings off a person's actions and not their words.

What life?

No seriously, what fucking life is he talking about? Everything we know about him paints him as a total shut-in NEET who gets allowance money from his pre-pubescent fanbase. Nobody who plays video games and streams as much as he does every day for every month has a life.

Yeah, streaming is just an evidence of having no life. I remember when he posted what he claimed to be his schedule and the math checked out more or less with those streams, but probably at leats half of what he called "work" was just dicking around on the internet. Or not. I seriously doubt he really works for 70h/week, but assuming he does:

Alex, I know you're reading this:

  • Get your act together. Working 70h/week is pointless, creative work output starts dropping after about 50h/week, so you would literally work faster if you worked only 40–50h/week. (And if you actually work for 15h/week, like most people here think... well, then you'd obviously work faster if you switched to 40h/week.)
  • Hire a programmer. A good programmer with both Unity experience and some business software experience. Hire him for a month. It will cost you, but you need to do it. Go for Eastern Europe if you want to be cheap, they're cheap as Indians but without all that Indian outsourcing bullshit. Or go for an American like a true patriot, but that'll cost ya.
  • But most importantly, don't be a Jew and pick a volunteer just because he's free – unless that slave is experienced, it would mean two spaghetti benders instead of one, which is as bad or even worse than before.
  • Give the programmer a single task: refactoring and optimizing the whole codebase. And I mean deep refactor, not some lipstick on a pig that was done recently thanks to TinyBuild.
  • While the programmer is working, you are not allowed to touch the code. Just check on him every two days to see if you aren't paying him for nothing and learn from his code, because that code will be the base your work will be built upon from now on.
  • If the programmer asks you if he can remove or simplify some easter eggs or some other bullshit, consider allowing him. Scratch that. Allow him. The easter eggs are one of the main reasons the code is shit. It's not like people care about them for more than a week.
  • Spend the remaining time on reading programming books and game design books, designing the game, "research", story writing, fixing the copyright status of your assets, dicking around, whatever. Just let people smarter than you fix your mess. And don't cry like a little baby when you see your code totally changed and different – that means that it's no longer such a hot mess
  • Yes, I know this plan means no new features for at least a month. Doesn't matter – it's not like you churn out new features that fast anyway. You don't have deadlines, so stop trying to add haphazard things to your katamari ball of spaghetti and look at the bigger picture.
  • Don't be afraid of removing things from the game. No one gets things right on the first time. Fans will whine, but they'll finally accept it. Start by fixing the ridiculous character names and backstories.
  • It will be still your game even if you don't make everything yourself. It's a sign of maturity knowing when to give up on something and asking someone else to do it. Your tween fans would adore you even if you were just a façade for a large faceless company.
  • Or you can continue as usual and nothing will change.

:offtopic:So Alex and I got into a bit of a spat on the Discord, but Alex did apologize. I was going to drop it and not post on here, but the server founded decided to basically blackball me when I asked that Alex receive a warning for being so rude for no reason.

Now today the founder decided to strip me of my VIP role and claimed that I was "strawmanning" when I pointed it out. I was going to not mention the issue above, but the Discord is going to shit really quickly. The founder claimed he would speak to Alex about following the rules, but I highly doubt he will. He also said:

One interesting thing he said:

>"Then i waited +8 months for tinybuild to give me what i needed. Things didn't work out."

Oh god remember when Alex said almost a year ago "if i don't finish Osana, tinybuild will do it for me"? He actually meant that. As i said earlier, i don't think he is under NDA, i think he didn't contact them in a while, he probably did nothing for months expecting tinybuild to give him everything as if they were his slave volunteers. But alas, Tinybuild is a busy company so obviously have better stuff to do than fix alex broken meme game.

Btw, you should have a spare discord account in case you get "mysteriously" banned.

Wow, he went from 0 to autism within afew moments. Thats amazing. There is no way he would be able to handle steam forums if his reaction to "hey man get a 2nd coder or manager to give yourself some help" is to have a fullblown mental breakdown and tell everyone why they are awful.

Reality check must hurt for him :(
