Out of curiosity which season are we on? Isn’t it season 9 as it’s been nine ish years since DSP started his channel? Or are we on main story arc season system? This overwatch, level and chill is both a throw back to the last “soulmaid” and an actual look into how she would see Phil. Playing vida from behind as the sands of time moved on.
Yeah that’s kinda how most things go. We had a great season finale with le-hooker and tax season extravaganza. Now we are on a kinda meh season start, had a miss direction with demons (which was shown to be a hit with test audiences) and now we have to wait through all the boring bits as the intern writers have to finish up the shoot as the main guys haven’t gotten over their hangover from last seasons success.
Understand we just passed the mid-season climax and it's winding down now. Until the cliffhanger before Summer starts it might be boring because they don't want to burn viewers out.
So we are in monster of the week territory right now. Just little arcs to string us along till the next big one.
