I'm not sure it's a matter of AMB hating KF. I think it's more along the lines of not having the time or desire to publicly poke fun at a multitude of lolcows. You say "old", and I'm sure the age range is a bit older, but I'd say "busier" is the better description. I think it's literally a hangout where they spend free minutes during the workday and poke fun at Tommy. KF is more anonymous. Most people on AMB know contact info for other people on AMB. Even though they're not cows themselves, they're probably edgy about having that info leaked publicly, and view KF as playing with fire in that regard. Even though Tommy is an impotent old buffoon, nobody wants him actually calling their family, work, or local police. I get the feeling that most here are younger (college age or so) & more anonymous, and as such have more time and energy to expend having fun on the internet. With the differences between AMB & KF, I think it comes with a bit of respect for the efforts that KF members go to in order to dig up things on cows, but I think it also comes with a bit of distrust for the extent that they perceive KF will go to troll or harass a cow. Perhaps even recklessly at times. I'm not sure that perception is valid, but likely is the only real difference of opinion that people at AMB have with us at KF.

Other members of AMB concur with this assessment from what I have seen and been told; however, it really isn't entirely accurate.

In general, KF takes the approach that a lolcow trolls themselves better than we ever could. I have seen 10x more hands-on activity with Tom than any other cow other than Chris pre-Kiwi Farms days. As a matter of fact, when it is found that users are trolling other cows, especially if they are not getting anything funny out of it (and they rarely, if ever do), the user is typically torn to pieces for their shitty trolling. A good example is the whole calling tom. How many times has AMB called tom, how many times have our users?

Our strong suit is digging information. We document, report and laugh. Sometimes the documentation comes with little or no lol attached, but our community emerged out of the motto that "no shit is too minor", meaning collect everything. KF looks more malicious on its face because of all the material here thats gathered to laugh at the idiot. The thing is that the content is p much all accurate, and if it is found to not be, we do what we can to find accurate info.

Faye Kane said something once to me that has stuck with me and has sorta helped me form my philosophy when it comes to lolcows. I will post the quote below, but my takeaway from it was that lolcows don't care about what you say that isn't true. Their ego isn't hurt by people saying "oh that person is a dogfucker" if they aren't a dogfucker. If you call them a dogfucker and there is evidence they fuck dogs, that is when they get riled up, milk themselves by throwing a tantrum, and all you have to do is document them doing stampyfoot impotently about all the truth you gathered.

Tom hates this site because we document, report and archive every time he does something dumb. All contact he has had he has initiated with us. He demanded that he be added to a skype group. He demanded that we call him. He has even tried to initiate contact by calling and texting numbers. We don't go to him or try to troll him. The extent to which any of that happens is when he has gotten false dox in the past.

So really, I think that anyone thinking that KF is some player in the troll community or that we are going out of our way to troll people, they're mistaken, and the track record I point to is us having extensive dossiers on all of these people and it being an ultra rarity that any of them be contacted.

I think there is only one guy who calls Tommy from AMB, but I tend to agree with you regarding the perception. I think the issue is that at AMB, they generally know who is seeing what they post. Here, the information is broadcast for everyone on the internet to do what they may. I'm not saying I agree with that feeling, just what I get from talking with the AMB people.

Much as I oppose Arizona's draconian anti-cannabis laws, I gotta say that Tom had it coming. There are effective ways to both work for legalization and indulge one's taste for the herb in such a state; Tom knew and practiced none of them. Openly smoking weed in a public place like that gem swap-meet alone is making yourself an easy target in a state where a creature like Joe Arpaio could become a top law-enforcement official.

I just hope he gets much-needed counseling, and is put in a halfway house where the online and IRL antics that have made him infamous everywhere from KF to Rainbow Village, won't be tolerated.

Essentially I agree with the potential distrust that AMB might have for our users given that we are a bit drastic to the extent that we will go to get info. It can easily be misconstrued for weening, and not everyone has the discipline not to go full tard on him and try and harass him.

Even when I snapped photos of him I made sure to be respectful of the area and be only an observer, but at the same time you know it crossed my mind that I am literally spending my time snapping photos of a toothless hobo for internet validation.

AMB probably feels that KF loves poking at lolcows so much it became one.

So, because iPhone 10 can unlock via face recognition, Tom's shitty computer can lock itself by the same means. Very logical.

That definitely explains all of those random stoned hippies whose faces still manage to convey "I cannot believe I am sitting in this shithole watching this dude talk at the computer" in the background of some of his previous videos. There they were, in front of the computer with their faces visible, and it totally locked itself... wait.

Yes he's quite the computer master. He built his own machine in a time when buying a personal computer was akin to buying a high end car, he was using the internet when it was just barely even the internet (i.e. not as simple as double clicking a Web browser) and was hacked so hard within the first fifteen minutes of logging on it blew out some local transformers.

Edit: To put it in perspective in 1972 the HP 3000 cost 95,000$. Tommy insists that he's been using the internet since it's infancy as the ARPANET. The commercially available Internet started in the late 80's but didn't hit its stride until 1990 with the introduction of the World Wide Web.
