Disaster Mass shooting at florida high school - Beware the autism

Multiple people have been injured in an active shooter situation at a high school in south Florida, police confirmed.

The Broward Sheriff's Office is responding to the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

The Coral Springs Police Department is asking students and teachers to remain barricaded inside until police reach you.

According to WSVN, at least three people were seen surrounded by first responders and one person was seen being wheeled into an ambulance. There are reports of up to 20 injuries.

Has there been any conspiratarding about how it was a false flag by the gun control lobby to grab yer guns yet?

Well, Alex Jones has "just asked questions" that it might be a false flag, but given that after Sandy Hook, after the Aurora theatre shooting, and so forth, all the gun nuts started reeeeeing about how it was a false flag, I wouldn't expect any different.

The teens who knew Cruz at the school were stunned. They described Cruz as an awkward “outcast”—someone who had trouble fitting in at Douglas High. But they never saw a mass murderer in the making.

“He was definitely not accepted at our school socially. People saw him as someone who was different than the normal people at our school,” Parodie added.


Douglas High has a place students call “the Emo Gazebo,” he said. “That’s where all the kids that are considered weird or not accepted sat. Kids at the Emo Gazebo didn’t even accept him there. He was just an outcast...He didn’t have any friends.”

Cruz always had his hair short and had a penchant for wearing patriotic shirts that “seemed really extreme, like hating on” Islam, Parodie said. The suspected gunman would also deride Muslims as “terrorists and bombers.”

As the token lefty here, I don't think that his political beliefs were all that important in this case (significant, but not the main issue), but rather it was a case of legitimate mental illness mixed with his status as an adrift social outcast. From the same article:

“He was off,” Giovanni Watford, 17, told BuzzFeed News. “He was super stressed-out all the time and talked about guns a lot and tried to hide his face.”

Watford told the site he had been in the same Junior ROTC program as Cruz and that Cruz would complain about bullying at Douglas High.

Broward County Sheriff Steve Israel told reporters the suspect was a former student of the school who was expelled for “disciplinary reasons.” Math teacher Jim Gard told the Miami Herald that Cruz was identified as a threat to the school in previous years.

“We were told last year that he wasn’t allowed on campus with a backpack on him,” Gard said. “There were problems with him last year threatening students, and I guess he was asked to leave campus.”

“I could tell he tried to be social at times but there was something off about him,” she said. “I never really saw him with many people. Girls thought he was creepy and weird. He was pretty pale with red hair. I didn’t talk to him that much, but from what I could tell he wasn’t a nice kid. He wore a lot of black and was always alone.

Still, Milan Parodie described Cruz as “always enthusiastic... He never seemed depressed or sad. He was always a little crazy is the best way to put it... He was peppy but not in a good way, in a crazy way. He tried to look creepy or weird, I think. He tried to talk to one of my girlfriends and he said she was cute, but she was weirded out and he was bothering her.”

These are not signs of a healthy individual, his political beliefs may have been a contributing factor towards his actions, but there were much more prevalent underlying issues at hand that I personally think connects to a larger problem among all young men and their anxieties over social status and insecurity over their masculinity.

I have no interest in the gun debate, the gun debate is nothing but a smokescreen for a bandaid that obscures the real source of the issue. I feel like no one wants to talk about what might be the root cause, or address it.

Nikolas Cruz is the correct spelling.
He is an orphan. Father died several years ago and mother died in November.
Has a brother named Zachary.
They were adopted by the parents who died. Originally lived in New York.

Can't imagine the shit he's about to get,
I mean has any school shooter who's killed more than like 4 ever lived before? This guy outdid Columbine and is still alive.

He has no court record in Broward County and he's not registered to vote. Some people have confused him with Nicolas de Jesus Cruz ( DOB 05/26/1998 ) who has a couple of traffic violations in Broward and is registered to vote as a Democrat.
