She talked about swimming with them at the lake last summer (and had wet hair). She’ll also night swim at hotels if no one else is around. There’s no chance in hell we will ever see that. Ohhh unless Eric pulls some of his shady shit and gives us a glimpse. Hmmmm....
Recently though, Eric said something like "you don't swim" when there was some water on TV and AL said she wanted to swim in it. Instead of protesting that she had swam that summer with Becky's family (and wanted to swim, or in her case float, across the entire lake but was stopped) she simply agreed and said "true" or something like that, which led me to believe she had made up the whole swimming story.

It's too bad because with her amount of blubber, she'd fit right in the water.

Holllllld up!!!!

Im missing something here. Becky has a history of using girlfriends for money??? Somebody fill me in on this please....

Becky SUPPORTED Amberlynn on YouNow with the rape allegations?

Damn, I've apparently missed A LOT!

I've been supportive of Becky mainly because I've felt sorry for her.

Rafe told us Becky has a history of using girlfriends for money and how she always needs to be in a relationship. Becky has admitted she's dependent on relationships before, just like Amber. But like @Long time lurker said, plenty of you probably don't trust Rafe's word (which is reasonable tbh). Rafe's supporting "evidence" for this was how quickly Becky throws away her friends to be with a new girlfriend, like when she up and moved into Nena's place in Tennessee.

Recently in a YouNow Amber told Becky to "tell them" i.e. tell the chat what happened between Amber and Kasey. Then supported Amber in calling him Cassidy and bad-mouthing him.

I see the reasoning behind not sympathizing with Becky but she definitely deserves better than AL's ex coming to Valentine's Day dinner :(
She absolutely doesn’t, though. Becky knows she’s a rebound - her whole reasoning for even contacting Amber was because she was so upset over Destiny, Becky thought Amber would kill herself. She truly did this to herself and I have no sympathy for her at all. It takes two seconds to look up our girls name and find this thread as well as a couple other choice things.

And I’ll even go as far to say that she didn’t have to date Amber. If she was truly so concerned about her they could’ve just been friends and helped each other and they still could’ve moved in together and Becky would’ve helped Amber as well as kept her individuality and boundaries, her job, her starting weight, I could go on. Becky doesn’t deserve the “uwu poor abused Becks deserves better” mentality she has and I’ll never understand how so many people think she needs to be protected and it’s poor Becky. Even IF Amber is abusing her, 911 exists. If it’s truly so bad, there are resources for her. But she won’t use them because I dont think it’s as bad as people like to hype it up to be and Becky seems pretty content to let Amber pay for everything while she does nothing.

Edit: I just want to add I’m not saying I dont think Amber is abusive, I absolutely think she is, but in this instance and with Becky specifically I don’t think it’s as bad as it’s speculated to be and if it was it’s not like she can’t help herself. The thing that makes truly abusive relationships so hard to break out of is because it’s so isolating and there are highs and lows that keep the abused person further isolated. Amber has a camera in their faces every day and so does Eric it’s not like Becky can’t see these things for herself.

Way easier to say than to do. People who are abused don't just "call 911" or "are able to see that they're being abused". It's quite the opposite. Most people who are abused deny that they're being abused, and don't seek help.

As for isolation, as much flak as you give Becky for mooching off Amber - you're failing to realize that's the pinpointed isolation. She quit her job like a dumbass, and has cut ties with friends other than those in the house she's basically confined to because Amber hates leaving. Yes, Becky has isolated herself into a relationship with Amber - and no, she may not just "be able to see it and call 911".

I don't think the abuse goes as far as Amber hitting her, but abuse is abuse nonetheless. Not to say that Becky isn't a shitty person herself - she definitely is. I think it's stupid to say that the abuse goes to extreme lengths, but it's as equally stupid to trivialize it just because Becky, like Amber, is a dipshit person that can't think for herself.

Remember how she said the lake looked "appetizing"?
