I like how when someone asked if they talking about his business (i guess we can call it now) when he is not streaming, he said NO. Then mentioned they talk about what they gonna eat, what they gonna do. In this order. Her making food is priority for him.

I think spite, not only for Leanna but for detractors, is only 60% of it. The other 40% is him realizing he's pretty much only got one more chance to make a long term relationship like this happen in his life.

Phil probably does have some feels for this woman and thinks that his window for a relationship is shrinking, but the moment he starts feeling disinterested in this woman it's going to show. He might not intend it, but just like with Leanna his body language and tone will make it apparent. This relationship escalated too quickly, and built on oetty reasons.

But he made a good point which I honestly also thought about but was too lazy to fact-check. If DSP streams in high resolution with 60 fps (also upload and download of game data) he should/could experience framedrops. His stream might not be affected if his internet is good enough but we speak about frames. They are tiny.
Also Kat plays overwatch which also adds some weight.

But most likely he is just a salty loser. He even complains about dropped inputs in Mario Sunshine.

Kat playing overwatch isn't even worth mention right now. She just got there amd Phil has been bitching about magic online lag for years.

Is that how Blip.tv worked? Think they sat around with all the higher ups discussing this 1 video because of 1 complaint?
He said the same thing about Fullscreen when they allegedly pulled out of a deal due to detractors. Apparently it took ALL Fullsceen's employees ONE HOUR to come to this conclusion. The Patrick Klepek incident is the best example of what I'd said before: when Phil thinks he's the only one in control of the truth, he always abuses the privilege massively. Timestamp 26:23 - 27:08.
And here's the Klepek incident for comparison. Really refreshing to see someone who saved receipts both hear about some DSP lies in his direction, and actually care to respond.

More and more Phil reminds me of a cult leader, akin to a Jim Jones, David Koresh etc, he seems to have a some kind of hold over certain individuals, who throw money at him and defend him even when what he's done is indefensible, it's really pretty sad.
The way he corrals these people on an individual basis is... not fun to watch. Good recent example is "SaveThatHouse," loyal donor who got banned for questioning Phil's SpawnSeats idiocy and was chewed out pretty bad as a bonus. Five hours later when the sponsor was gone? "Come on, man. I had to treat you like that. It's just how business works. Nothing I could do uhuhuhu" And that worked? Please.

Listen for yourself.

Phil isn't like a fox in a henhouse, he's like... a retarded fox... in a veal chamber... I think... Whatever! Analogies were never my thing. The point is, he's obviously not charismatic to us, but he's managed for the last 10 years to surround himself with people who are very very easily impressed, won over, and manipulated. BSV, Kaveri, John Rambo, Kat, them included.

I've played many times with friends in other countries. So I play on servers in their countries, which means forced online lag.

Even Counterstrike and other FPS games are generally quite playable even with pings as high as 200 (depending). Sure its not always great, but the connections are always consistent and the games are playable and you can do pretty well.

Even if the game is a bit laggy and you don't have all the advantages, it still manages to be a lot more fun that I've ever seen DSP have in any game.
I watched MrHuthStuff's video about the second DBFZ ragequit and was astounded to see that despite all the salt, Phil had won around 70% of his matches. With all his crying I assumed he would have been well below 50%. Tevin was right. TIHYDP videos for fighting games aren't really even necessary, because he complains every time he loses -- and even every time he gets hit!

One last thing: I'm late here, but want to shed some light on the girlfriend's mediocre cooking. I expected it to be better, too, with how Phil hyped it up. But then I remembered what many of you longtime viewers should remember, which is that he shilled his last slave's mediocre cooking as well. You know the script, Moving to WA allowed me to improve my lifestyle by eating home-cooked meals by Leanna, back when I was a bachelor I ate nothing but garbage, she's really excited about being able to cook, yadda-yadda-yadda.

It's really just a case of him once again hyping up what he has and shitting on what he can't have, as well as being a manchild who does not know how to provide for himself. Leanna's food was such a big deal to him that it briefly enjoyed its own vlog series. These weren't reviews, either. Rather, 2-5 minute videos literally just showing off what great food he was eating. Because that's the kind of content you look forward to when subbing to a Let's Player's vlog channel... undercooked potatoes made by a live-in hapa concubine.

I couldn't believe him less. I don't believe for even a second that anyone has had a meeting about him never mind for 1 hr+. Like I said it seems like pure posturing, "look how important I am guys every site I've ever been on or worked on has had meeting with top guys all about me."

He offers no proof just his words, even when he's reading their e-mails, which I still can't believe he did, publicly I just assume he's bullshitting. Why wouldn't he? Chances are he just receives generic e-mail after generic e-mail. Just like every other struggling streamer. And I bet that fact just fucking kills him inside.

Edit - That actually came across a little harsher than I meant tbh, I do believe meetings would've been held just not to the extent he portrays and not involving the top guys of any site.

Another company that did business with dsp and at the end, he shittalks them:
According to dsp, Lootcrate dropped him because their stuff was junk and and when people realized it, they did not sub to Lootcrate. Also, apparently it was a hassle for him to find 20 mins on a day to film it. Okay dude.

You cant do business with him and come out clean.

EDIT: The referal link to Lootcrate is still under this video.

I never heard of someone calling thick cut veggies salsa. For me salsa needs to be fine dices veggies with more of a saucy or liquid texture.

You can have chunky salsa. I've made mango and herb salsa, that was basically diced tomatoes and mango and that's it (little juice).

DSP never had siblings so I think he's terrible at socializing. Nobody is jealous of Kat's shitty food just like we weren't jealous of Leanna's nasty food either. Kat is an ego thing for him. Just wait until her trauma rears its ugly head cause it will eventually regardless of how good she's living. Then see how dsp likes her.

Wasn't this the incident he tried to get out of the fight by suggesting turning to the "crowd" anticipating a fight and doing a bunch of crotch chops DX style?
Yep, that's part of the screencap - it's the paragraph right after a) & b).

LootCrate stopped sending him free boxes. It started by DSP apparently buying a 6 month subscription in 2014 shortly after the move (first LootCrate video was September 27th 2014), then apparently they thought he did well enough in referrals to put him on free crates. He particularly pushed them hard in 2016 and for a month or 2 got a lot of referrals, this then caused him to get those 'early exclusive' crates like the WWE one. He stopped pushing them so hard when he returned to Twitch so numbers fell off & they cut off his free boxes. BUT his referral code will still work, they didn't kick him out of the program.

it's not just to spite leanna but also those dang dirty detractors
even when it goes to shit phil will force the relation to stay together, it'll only fall when she finally leaves
then he'll immediately start vomiting OH WELL SHE WAS A BITCH ANYWAY SHE WAS JUST USING ME ARF ARF ARF I NEVER SAID WE WERE SOULMATES!!!

Phil eats sour grapes while making the fakest MMMM SO GOOD noises

Of course. This should go without mentioning. I just wanted to point out that Kat played overwatch (rumors) and it was still the games fault. He suddenly dropped around 8 frames when normally he is around 2 to 3. Games fault.

Imagine him telling Kat to stop playing so he can play the game he hates. Of course he wouldnt do that. Not because this would be a dick move but he lacks the balls. And with that I stop my assumptions because I cant read minds.

Yeah you can have chunky salsa but what he had was just cut veggies. A good rule for salsa is that you need to be able to scoop it up with a chip and scooping one veggie with it does not count. I don't know where in the world big chunks of veggies are called salsa but I grew up with a hispanic family and never heard anyone call what he ate salsa, maybe salad but not salsa.

"I gotta play day 1 AAA okay that's why where my views come from dood"

Phil is literally the worst at predicting trends and striking while the iron is hot. I guarantee he will eventually play mhw when it's a seven months from being popular (but before the G rank expansion resurgence) and he'll bitch and moan the whole time.

I was thinking about this "10 year outta ideas HYPE event" and it actually could have worked. If a streamer was around for 10 years and decided to replay favorite playthroughs from their first few years so you could compare the old to the new and see how they evolved as a content creator some fans could find that interesting. Phil's kahntent however has stayed the same or gotten worse, which doesn't even need to be said. He almost had a good idea, but in typical Phil fashion it blows up in his face and exposes how little he has put into his "business."
