This was just about the dumbest move John could have made.

Yes, but I can see why she did it. Since glomming onto GamerGate, Brianna has learned quickly that if you lie boldly and confidently enough, people will believe you. She thinks this is a universal truth bwxause, well, wouldn’t you? Four years of scamming and lying, and all that’s happened is that she’s managed to raise her profile by stepping on heads. These methods get her on CNN and NPR.

The problem is, she’s gained most of her “respect” and “credibility” by going after people with no power. GameGaters are seen largely as a whiny crew of troll boys to people far removed from the movement. The snake oil was an easy sell for Brianna.

Later she went after Nolan Bushnell and others. In her mind, she’s still right about that regardless of what actual women employed by Atari say. At this point she’s like a dictator in his paranoid final days. Erratic behavior is the logical next step.

Stephen Lynch is no moron. He will know how to handle whatever lies Brianna blogs. It won’t be hard. He either won’t respond or will do so bluntly, briefly, and beautifully like William Shatner did.

I took a look at that report and the first thing I noticed is that it's fucking bullshit. For example, their category on AI includes people who are not considered in any way to even be in the field of AI. There are a couple of people on that list I know socially/professionally and they would likely be the first to tell you that if you asked them.

This "report" was produced by this company's "Influence Discovery Software" which appears to just scan twitter and apply some pretty naive calculations and network analysis to come up with a score and a graph of connections. Anyone with even a tiny bit of knowledge of these industries, would look at this for about 30 seconds and realize that whoever (or more likely whatever) compiled this has no actual understanding of these industries.

Unfortunately I think everyone is being a bit too optimistic and I doubt we'll see Stephen respond no matter how many times she tags him like an idiot. Brianna is not worth his time, she is a nobody. And unlike Brianna, Lynch has actual work to do and doesn't spend every waking minute of the day on Twitter responding to tweets. The most hopeful thing I can see happening is a radio/TV station picking up Bri's story and deeming it newsworthy enough to investigate the claims by contacting Lynch himself.

But I doubt the blog she claims she's writing will ever be published anyway. Not only was she not present at the event, but Warren even said multiple people were there witnessing his crazy. So Brianna can't even do what she does best and exaggerate the truth at the risk of being called out by one of the witnesses. The tweet she made was purely to make it sound like her poor, hardworking women of color campaign staff was harassed by the evil WHITE cis man Lynch before brave Brianna swooped in and saved the day.

But please prove me wrong because I want to see her getting Lynch'd.

I agree, he’s blown tens of thousands of dollars from his campaign fund on personal trips, lunches, and video equipment for two hilariously bad commercials. He has $453 in his coffers and can’t afford to hire proffesionals to obtain signatures.

The due date is May 8th and they have less than 100 signatures by my count. They need more than 2k because you will always have entire sheets of signatures thrown out. John is not a threat and never was. This is all a scam to add another title to his list so he can try and remain relevant and scam news sites to bring him on for interviews.

He’s so desperate for popularly and relevance.
