CultcowEvaXephon / Yanderedev / Alex Mahan / Alexander Stuart Mahan / cannotgoogleme - Edgy weeaboo coomer with pedo tendencies and 15+ years internet history as a lolcow, now known as a disaster developer behind eternal debug build called "Yandere Simulator", confirmed groomer and dollfucker
like i said earlier the "twist" and "how its meant to be boring at first" kinda reminds me of doki, and the blonde guy insisting that it gets more interesting is a laugh at those kinds of people invested i that game, it seems.
Heya, I literally just made an account on this site because of this thread (especially since it hit 1000+ pages), which I've been checking up on every so often (found out about it through a youtube comment actually). I haven't read every single post, so I don't know if it's been said before, but I'll still say it:
Alex is the perfect example of an incel. Maybe one day he'll add Chad-aru and Stac-suki to the game...

Well, he's lazy as all hell, so it's probably a mashup of whatever he can steal from the internet. YS is essentially Limbo of the Lost in that regard but with anime shit instead. That being said, Limbo of the Lost is a finished game.
This is veering into conspiracy theories, but that in-universe anime he mentioned almost certainly has a connection to Osana.
This was brought up on reddit a long time ago and since then Alex just keeps putting in more clues, as if he wants people to make more "theories".
Osana definitely has a stalker. He calls to threaten her:
At first, he seemed like just a creepy ex, but then Musume brought him up in her event with Osana:
Why anime though? So far, there is only one prominent in-universe fictional character in the "game".
Notice the resemblance? She looks a lot like Osana. (Well, she looks just like anyone else too because everyone is the same.)
So the theory is that there’s some guy thinks Osana is his waifu made flesh and bribes/blackmails/threatens her to cosplay for him. This might sound exceptional (it does, actually), but so does everything else in the “game”.
Actually, the idea of someone having an obsessive stalker angry with them for not behaving “in character” they see them as could be creepy and interesting. Check Perfect Blue, for example. But in this case it doesn’t fit and is just lame.
This is from a random conversation on Discord. For context, Alex was joking that no one should support Yan Sim and a guy asked where should he spend the money he’d save. Maybe it’s just me, but that’s bizarrely specific:
This totally seems plausible as a way to establish his "mysterious obstacle." I remember him saying how the little doll was important for Osana, so maybe it was for her elimination method and her stalker. Stalker is totally in love with his magical girl waifu who just happens to look like Osana and is following her everywhere, so there will always be a witness nearby.
Also in the new video is another shining example of how unfitting the voice actress Michaela Laws is for Yandere Chan. Just from her voice you can sort of tell that she's plus sized, if you know what I mean. Whereas Yandere Chan is as skinny as a rod for obvious reasons. Forgive me if this is a weird observation but its just something that has irked me whenever I hear Yandere Chan's voiced lines.
fftopic:So Alex and I got into a bit of a spat on the Discord, but Alex did apologize. I was going to drop it and not post on here, but the server founded decided to basically blackball me when I asked that Alex receive a warning for being so rude for no reason.
Now today the founder decided to strip me of my VIP role and claimed that I was "strawmanning" when I pointed it out. I was going to not mention the issue above, but the Discord is going to shit really quickly. The founder claimed he would speak to Alex about following the rules, but I highly doubt he will. He also said:
He's gonna pitch fifty more half-baked ideas that'll make the game even more of a fuckfest before we reach 2000 pages. We will see Haley's Comet before Osana is in the game. Anyway, whatever happened to the gym? Last thing I heard was that it was super glitchy and literally had no collision. Maybe Osana's in there, considering that both won't ever see the light of day again.
I'm willing to bet though that there's a higher chance that eva will go for the high score compared to finishing this game or even doing anything useful that contributes to society.
The warning signs are there: loner, incel, virgin with rage, insecure, narcissistic, lacks empathy, socially inept, impulsive rager, wants to kill his parents, mixes sexual and violent fetishes together, thinks his failures are due to other people,... etc -- there are probably more signs.
The only thing stopping him is the stream of shekels coming from the flock of edgelords who share similar personalities of eva.
Or the fact that, IF he manages to finish this game in N number of years, and the game bombs in a specular fiery negative-review-rama, then he will think he just wasted his life on a failed game -- there's no telling what an unstable individual like eva can do. I mean take a look at how he reacted to a fighting game he made in 3 months and got shit on by MikeZ; we're talking about 4+ years of development of pent up aggression.
I believe this is a good idea, actually. We're at 1000 pages now and this would be a great way to filter out all the shitposting and provide the necessary information needed on Alex. I'll go ahead and add the EvaXephon/Mike Z argument to the Lunar Scythe page, and maybe add a page or two. I hope this takes off!
I think a good tip if you wanna try and blow past a few hundred pages on this thread, is to only read the posts that have a lot of informative ratings on them or if they contain spoilers for something important, instead of reading a large amount of shitposts and conversations about that informed post. That way you can get caught up on YanDev's past and present a lot quicker and easier.
