Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
'Indie' is a business model, not really a genre.
"Punk trans warriors smash capitalism" and "Pervert ghost lusts over zombie babes with big boobs" are two themes inside two completely different comics that both fall into the indie category.
They're not as big as Marvel of course but an indie title can gain a dedicated audience big enough for the author/s to make a living out of it.

I have just added Michelle Matt Perez to the OP, please x-post any content from him to his thread from now on, thanks.

Also, please let me know if there are mistakes that need to be corrected in this entry, thanks.

Michelle Perez / Matt Perez / Rubblewoman / thatwronglove

A Rat King member who works as a freelance comics writer (the works I know of have been for Image Comics), his involvement in Comicsgate appears to be very recent, to the point where his current occupation wasn't even mentioned in their dedicated thread, Matt came into the scene after publicly fantasizing about D&C's death following the publication of a neutral piece on Comicsgate, said fantasizing somehow attracted the attention of another cow, Kurt Eichenwald, the two are engaging in a large-scale Twitter slapfight at the time of writing, with Nora Reed getting herself involved as well.

Notably, Aubrey Sitterson has stated that he is getting inspired by Matt's actions, for some odd reason..

Matt's thread, which has extensive history of his pre-Comicsgate faggotry, with various furry and NSFW stuff:

Do independent comics sell well? I imagine most sales come from pre-sales like kickstarters, Amazon, and at comic cons but don’t come close to matching the numbers of large comics from Marvel or DC.

The market for bad tranny/gay/lesbian comics is incredibly small.

Independent stuff never does particularly well compared to the big companies, but for graphic novels they hold their own.

(I refuse to call IDW an indie company, incidentally. They have the Disney comics license, one of the most venerable traditions in American comics. You see their stuff in good places on comic book racks.)

As if you, a tranny who wrote a comic about a whore in Seattle, could do anything.

This tranny is similar to Zinnia in that he shares his asshole on Twitter so careful if you go digging for dirt on him.

Considering how much he is bashing IDW on twitter, it's looking like he chose being salty over getting another writing gig.

IDW is pretty shit, but people like Aubrey are why.

No, Aubrey (you should sue your parents for naming you that, BTW) - IDW had it right. If you didn't 'tard out on Twitter about 9/11, you wouldn't have fucked your series into an early cancellation before the first issue even came out.

You'd have to have very low quality shit for brains to think going full ISIS and working on fucking G.I. Joe of all comics would be completely incompatible.

Does Aubrey even have a job anymore or did they officially commit career suicide?
didn't he allegedly get Hasbro to start looking into all the horseshit IDW's been adding to their licensed comics? Especially since their 'HASBRO UNIVERSE' thing has been a bust.

Something tells me we're going to see Boom get the license for a lot of these.

MP:
My favorite part of the book is probably any scene with explicit penetration. That’s it. I’m an incredibly simple person that is happy about explicit trans sex in a mainstream published comic book. It’s gonna be a fun experience if you’re into that, and if you’re a fucking idiot you’re gonna hate it. I love it so much

What a wonderful tranny. The comic is drawn and inked poorly.

It might be biographical, the most worrying part is that it got ranked '#13 in Educational & Non-Fiction' on amazon. The "Educational" part is the one that bothers me.

They have no concept of self-responsibility. You will never see any of them admit they were wrong and will blame everything except themselves. Rant (Archive)

Lol wut? Hasbro Universe? There's gonna be a My Little Pony/G.I. Joe crossover?

That soyboy is just salty beyond belief.. I love how they always blame others for everything, even when it was extremely clear that he had at least some hand in his dismissal.

MLP is one of the exceptions that isn't included because of it's target demographic. It's technically been a thing before where you'd sometimes have G.I. Joe characters showing up in Transformers media and stuff like that. They're just making a big deal out of it now because shared universes are the "in" thing.

X-posting from the Eichenwald thread:

OMG, the cows just keep coming, that Sona_Sonara is actually commiesona, who was doxed in the Gamergate Hanger-ons community thread.
