Considering the amount of problems and debt that complete skinflint, lazy owners of restaurants have, Phil would fit right in.

During the doxxing incident I recall him saying "You know, those same people who were behind the false copyright strikes and the swatting." I don't remember which prestream it was because I heard it in a Tevin video and then Tevin was like "What? That was SoK not Kiwifarms." but it could just be him lumping all detractors into one basket rather than switching the narrative to Kiwifarms did everything. Who the heck knows with DSP he just says shit that benefits him at the time.

He does lump them all together. Someone who doesn't like him because he cut them off in traffic is the same as someone who doesn't like him because they think he scams people.

Phil just said on stream his tax scandel or whatever is due in April. He might be telling the truth but the tone of his voice sounded like he was lying.

"The taxes are due (slight pause).....in April."

Those are backtaxes. They're not normal taxes, so there will obviously have to be an audit by the government because he hasn't paid those taxes for 4 years or whatever.

So its at least plausible.

He's right. Federal taxes are supposed to be filed by April 15th for the previous year (so, 2017). What he's either ignorant of or lying his ass off about is whether he has to pay the amount in full then. Unless something has majorly changed, you can ask for a payment schedule. The IRS is almost always inclined to do this because they want to get their money, and a monthly payment makes that more likely. They also take any future tax refunds you might get until the owed taxes are paid off.

I think I mentioned it before, but I know this b/c my wife and I paid off $7k in owed taxes (self-employment + unemployment--it was a weird year) at a whopping $200 a month.

Well, I just wanted to add something, but I find it odd noone has pointed this out yet. If he truly has a tax attorney, then he is full of shit, this guy has had his tax info since November for his back taxes, and would/should of had his tax info for 2017 by the beginning of February.

If he has copies of his tax returns, which any fancy Tax Attorney in CT would most definitely give you, he should already know what his taxes should be close to. He has been crying foul of finances ALL year last year, but now is claiming he made more? Any fan of his that has been watching since last year has probably been catching onto to that discrepancy in the narrative.

But lets put this ALL to the side, and I want to point out... Phil can ride this train all year by his new attorney filing an extension. Extensions are free and delay the filing of your April taxes till... October 15th... So...

Because this is Kiwifarms and no detail is too small, I decided to do a breakdown of DSP's current setup. This is based on going through some of his setup videos dating from 2015-2017 but he hasn't done very many of them recently.

• ARRIS xfinity Cable Modem (impossible to tell exact model)
  • Likely the TG862G-CT which is rated 3.5/5 on Amazon with many complaints
  • Says its the "business level internet modem" which appears to be untrue. Because only home/small businesses use cable modems and they rarely have many critical applications. It's a shit modem.
  • Claims he got a new modem at some point in April 2017, but its unclear if this is a different model or not.
  • All cable modems in general are shit. Cable internet is bad.
• Rocketfish rf-g1182 HDMI Splitter (most likely model)
  • Not designed for streaming, designed for just splitting
  • Manual references things like detecting output TVs which implies it is more than a simple splitter and probably adds frame delays

• Netgear Ethernet Switch
  • Can't tell if its gigabit or 100mbps because both models look the same
  • If its 100mbps then it can be a bottleneck
  • Network switches are largely unproblematic and don't do anything complicated
• Network cables
  • A complete mess of all different varieties of network cables
  • Network cables to break and wear out and present unpredictable problems that aren't easy to diagnose
• Generic USB Hub connected to his PC with a cable + extender
  • No idea if anything important connects to that hub but there is no way its not a piece of shit causing issues for anything important. Its a really shitty USB hub with like 8 things connected to it.
  • I wouldn't say that because its generic/shit it'd cause issues, but purely because I'm fairly certain its USB 2.0 which means the bandwidth spread across the ports isn't great.
• Extremecap U3 (capture device)
  • Doesn't matter for frame delay
  • Connected with a USB cable and USB cable extender

Fucking almost everything is connected with USB extenders which aren't USB compliant and can cause huge issues for anything that is mission critical. All the network cables look like they fell off the back of a truck. Network cables break every now and then and cause huge unpredictable issues.

I don't know what TV he uses, if someone does then I can add that.

That's true. Another thing that people mentioned often is that the government will be super happy to put you on a payment plan. So he likely won't have "thousands" due.

Anyway, I doubt he's going to lose the house from the tax return issue, but he's definitely shit scared about finances right now.
IMHO he should throw in the chips now, go and rent a much cheaper property in some town in Washington which has fiber internet.

Take the $400 a month he'll save on internet costs and buy a 4K TV and start living with a whole lot less stress.

Yeah. I don't really think she's using him (at least not based upon whats available so far) or any of that shit.

This is only DSP's second relationship, so Leanna relying on him for da tugboat was probably a "new" thing for him. Its entirely plausible that Kat, although not wealthy, is financially independent to some extent.

So i've had an experiment going (more or less one) where over the course of a month i'll tune in to his twitch for roughly a minute at a time and i'll see how long it takes him to complain. without phail he will do it within the minute i tune in. how can one man be filled with so much bitch i'll never guess
