The problem is this is an endless loop of begathon that him or his fans can never get out of:

1. DSP is in big debt of tax and needs more money
2. DSP does not know or won't tell you how much he owe, so it is a bottomless pit
3. DSP hosts fundraising event
------3.1 Not enough fund raised from the event, the loop goes back to No. 3
4. More than enough fund raised to cover the tax
5. Because he made so much on the fund raiser event, his tax for the next year increased again and he can't afford it because any extra he made goes to his other debt and he has no disposable income, despite he is able to buy PS4 Pro and moves someone from across the country
6. Loop goes back to No.1


I don't understand why his paypigs can't see this endless loop

Anyone remember when someone pretended to be a girl to get Mod in DSP's chat, and then had some nefarious scheme only to be thwarted at the last second? This may as well be a second swing at that.

Then again 'Phil let's rub our tiny dicks together' and 'have any of you guys tasted your own semen?' aren't exactly out of place in DSP's chat. It's not really any worse than what comes from Popsicolo, or that other guy that writes about puke and period blood, and wants to have a threesome with his wife and Kirsten Dunst and totally isn't homo.

Going with the General Principle of the DSPhere that the answer to anything has to be the most autistic possible, which would be more autistic: a ween trying to buy their way in to Mod for the second time, or that Mr. Swaggins' chat posts are actually pretty average

Because they're severely daft or naive. The dox harvest last month shows his fans aren't the brightest, and we only got the dox on a handful of them. I can only imagine the rest we didn't get dox on were just as dumb if not worse.

I'm not saying his detractors are genius ubermensch, but the fact is his remaining paypigs just aren't playing with a full deck. Taking advantage of them would be laughably easy for almost anyone, doubly so for a manipulative greaseball like Phil.

Second stream: Generic boring first-person shooter shit.
This will get him the views. At least he picked a theme, I guess.

On another note before I forget it. Is it just me who has problems when Phil gives Mario insulting names? For some other games this might be kinda okayish but in a kids game and therefore a kids audience you shouldn't yell "Jump, you asshole" or "What an idiot" at Mario, on more than just one occasion. This drove me more nuts than it should be but I think it's because I was more insulted by Phil's ineptitude for immersion. However, at least the puzzle pieces of Phil's personality still match together like they were never separated. Beware the big shocker everybody is aware of:
Phil has no sense for artistic expressions or immersion.
Imagine a world where every game content has no colors, no sound, is shaped like simple building blocks. So every game is basically the same. Just move hero cube from point A to point B. And because every game is the same, everything has to follow the same rules and if it doesn't work: Force the game to work under these rules because it must be an error/bug if it doesn't function as "usual". I try really hard to understand this guy's world view, as fucked up as it might end be.

So in this regard it amuses me how he always claims he plays to have fun and create entertaining khantent (which is HIGHLY subjective). When he has no fun himself or can't even comprehend the game itself like he doesn't know what makes games fun in the first place. It's like he plays with packages and claims how he loves to play with them but never opens them to truely appreciate the content. Or he doesn't know what "fun" in the usual use of language means. Truely he is Phil BurnedOut (as a former content creator myself, I can understand it to a limit).

It is even stranger they don't see it when Phil flat out explained it to them, so Phil must give his fans as much credit as we do. Also, since Phil is self employed he is supposed to file his taxes quarterly so this scam can go the whole year. Unless he is exempt from the quarterly taxes for some reason, maybe @neger psykolog, @SoapQueen1, or someone else who dug deep into tax laws can fill in some info if they have it.

All I know is that he most likely had to pay the 2017 taxes as one payment and not quarterly.
Then the backtaxes will be likely audited/scrutinized by the taxman and he'll probably be put on a payment plan.
Then in the future he'll either pay quarterly/yearly state taxes.

He already pays his federal taxes quarterly from what is known.

His fans simply can't wrap their brains around contradiction between, on the one hand, him being a mature, professional, adult, businessman whose financial particulars are far too complicated for burger-flipping 9-5 wage slave dummies to possibly understand, and, on the other, him being so utterly fucking incompetent that he has no idea how much money he owes in taxes that he has to scramble for receipts at the last minute and publicly beg his fans to give him as much as possible just in case it's a whole lot.

the rest is boring.

takeaways:

- he has no idea how much fucking money he will owe for his taxes and he needs to beg his fans to give him as much as possible. however much money he made previously will affect how much money he owes, which he doesnt know because he's fucking stupid, so better just give him all of it during the fundraiser, which he seems committed to calling it. a fundraiser.

he's not doing a marathon on wednesday during the fundraiser. in fact, he's doing nothing different for either stream except having some stats overlay during his normal day of playing video games twice a day on stream. but because it's a fundraiser, he needs to play the games that will raise the most funds for him, so he'll be playing PUBG for the money and then playing COD for second stream.

also, anyone who questions him on how much money he owes and how the fuck he could need to do another fundraiser 2 months after a massively successful one already are just a bunch of idiots 9-5 working slave conspiratards who dont know how to run their own businesses.

Tuesday's Secret of Mana stream may be cancelled if Phil cannot finish his taxes on Monday night.
Phil talks at length about his "bullshit taxes" and why he's playing games on Wednesday, which is "normally" his scheduled day off.
He says he own a lump sum of 2017 federal taxes, the first of his 2018 federal taxes, and the first payment of his state back taxes. He says he doesn't actually know how much he owes.
He admits that cheers and subs would count towards his financial payments.
He still thinks he can get up to 550 subscribers by Wednesday night.
Phil says that his next tax payment will be in June.
Phil says that he can't afford to put thousands of dollars of taxes on a credit card.
Phil will be playing that one climbing game during his Indies Marathon; people are voting on Axiom Verge, DDLC, and others.
Phil's next week is open; he may begin his Mass Effect 2 Renegade FemShep run if nothing new drops by surprise.
