If he's actually paying 10k and not inflating the budget for his own luxury spending, then he's had his tax monkey on the job for over a week (50 hours) by this point personally using his own numbers. That basically would imply his tax monkey's doing most of the filing and he's just sobbing at the poor fuck and trying to minmax his tax write-offs.

Nah, man. Someone making 100k per year pays (including federal income and FICA without state) about 20-25k per year in taxes.

No way in hell someone is charging 10k for that. Nobody in their right mind would pay that kind of money for that amount of service.

Reading about all his business expenses, I'm trying to remember, was he currently classifying what he does as a "business?" Because last I recall, he was trying to walk that part back before his big fundraising. But I'm far from an expert on DSP.

Also, whatever he did to get suspended, I'm sure he won't be able to restrain himself from doing again.

10k for somebody to spend a few hours doing his taxes? Shit, this is weapons grade autism if his little paypigs believe that.
10k for an evening? That's only about 20 or so clients (less than a month's worth of time) and law school pays for itself. That seems good to me. I should have become a tax attorney dood.

What's with phil writing "lol" at the end of each tweet?

It's literally this...

I think Phil is just exaggerating just so he has an excuse to not do it. He pulled the same thing about direct capture and how it was so detrimental to the gameplay experience. If he's bullshitting about his taxes as we've speculated before, then it's possible that he already filed his taxes and is just looking for some khuality breaktime.
Yeah, that was me suffering a bout of illiteracy; thanks for the correction and showing he did not pay a tax monkey to do it.

Regardless, I kind of highlighted how long those services would have to go on for to match his hyperbolic numbers. Phil would have to have not just no filing system for this scenario, but the exact opposite of one to require that much servicing if he paid for it. It would have to be like something out of a cartoon; piles among piles of chickenscratch riddled used napkins and receipts from IKEA and so on.

In retrospect, if he is taking so long, it's him desperately finding all the ways to write off money for him to spend on stupid shit.

I was wrong, but I dunno about that. Phil here is a stupid impulse buyer that paid for people to install his fucking TV into the wall and install venetian blinds too out of laziness.

Counterpoint: He claims its his entire CT Tax Attorney's fault for what happened with the business tax issue in Washington because he used to handle "ALL" his taxes, from DSP's mouth ALL of his taxes and thats how DSP didn't know about the state tax stuff and never caught wind of it because in his words he "Never did any of his taxes." So either DSP lied about not knowing about the Washington Business Tax because he never did any of the taxes himself and it being entirely the tax attorney's fault or he's lying here.

When you lie so much you get caught in your own web of lies. Busted.

That is 20% to 25% of income on someone not in a particularly high tax bracket. I am not a CPA/tax expert, but I have a hard time believing his tax liability would be that much. It's not peanuts I would imagine, but no way he's on the hook for that much. If he is then he needs another tax attorney (because the federal government will let you pay whatever you want).

Well, this will be another interesting saga in the season.

Phil, Phil never changes.

Just asked a cpa friend of mine what a single 10k in fees tax return would look like.

His quote: “My brains splattered on my office walls.”
I give my CPA 100 dollars for my shit and that's because my parents are his friends. I cannot imagine how much work 10k is.

You could probably do the taxes for Bezos more easily than you can for DSP.

True enough.

It would be about 15k for federal and 12% of gross for FICA, but I'm not sure what kind of deductions this spicy Italian meatball is taking for Da Business™.

Ack Ack Ack I cant resist to go to my channel and beg for more money so I had asked Twitch to sign our mutual agreement, just like the one i signed with Leanna and with Machinema, to temporarily terminate my channel so that I can focus on my tax that i will beg you guys for money 4 times a year *SNOoOoORT*

So, I just got here and the autism train never stops does it. Well only a 24 hour ban nothing too bad, but it does show that he's not on top of Twitch's "Good Boi List" as I have seen streamers do some questionable stuff and get away with it as they are good money rev for the site.

Edit
@neger psykolog Is this normal with a suspension? Like this nigga is gone.

We'll know tomorrow or Wednesday if it was to do with the begathon bullshit he was trying to pull, if it is then i wonder how he'll beg when he comes back, we all know he just cant NOT talk about money on stream.

So in all of his Twitter messages he mentioning his business and his taxes etc etc. Why does someone not smash him with a FOI request? He wouldn't be able to ignore it would he?
lol calm down

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is a law that gives you the right to access information from the federal government. You can't go to the federal government and demand some business or celebrity's tax returns.

sometimes when you reload the page, you can see in the chat for a split second "this channel has been suspended". If you visit this page instead:

https://www.twitch.tv/darksydephil/videos/all

it says on the right "this channel has been suspended"
