However you look at it tonight has been a monumental failure for him. The chances of him going above $150 by the end of the night seems like a pipe dream.

Treating his chat even worse than normal on such a "important" night is near full-retard. He can't blame detractors for this. But I'm sure he'll try.

I don't know whether to laugh or feel embarrassed.

Or, more likely, she is in the house but since she isn't cooking or cleaning for him at that very second he doesn't care and honestly couldn't care less what she's doing.

he gets no sympathy from me. If it was an actual goal or something really important, like medical, or something he could prove, maybe.. but he did this shit weeks ago, and weeks before that and it's always some mystery number for some vague thing that he never mentions again.

shit, even if he just said "hey guys I want a ps4 pro help me out" I think it would be different. Some streamers/youtubers do that, just like.. once a year... not once a month

I'm not sure about the higher tiers, but for the $5 subs he only makes half of the money, 2.50. So it would only be $650, not $1300. Huge difference.

Its important to remember that this is a situation that Phil got himself into. And its a situation that only Phil can get himself out of. He simply doesn't appear to have the recipe for success at being a streamer who brings in thousands of viewers on a normal day and you can't change what people want in a streamer.

He has to downsize at some point, and that downsize won't be fucking aquafina, it will be declaring bankruptcy and consolidating all of his debt. But its his life and if he doesn't want to do it, then the bank might force him to. Anyone feeling sympathy for his financial situation and giving him significant amounts of money is only going to prolong the inevitable: bankruptcy.

He's not the first person in history to bank their life on income from a job or some company that suddenly cuts severely (YouTube). Life goes on.

The only other option is him completely changing his personality when he streams which seems almost impossible at this stage. Or otherwise figuring out how to make more money from YouTube or other sources.

I'm not clear what you're referring to. He currently has just over $2700 in cheers this month and $685 in subs (that amount takes into account what his cut is for each sub tier), so he's at ~$3400 in cheers+subs. I don't track tips since they don't show up in chat. I was just noting that a couple of days ago I predicted that he would end the month with around $3700 from cheers and subs and around $1500 in tips.

He has read stuff from chat before when people haven't cheered. But its very, very rarely. I just don't know what people would want to talk to him about besides drama. The only thing he's an expert on is fighting games, most of which he refuses to play.

The next time he takes days off of streaming he should probably do something other than slouching around and watching wrassling: watch other streamers who are moderately successful and see what they're doing differently to you.

The thing is, its so easy to save money though. Just move out the house, he only remains in it so he doesn't "lose" because giving up the house would be seen as a "failure" that he can't afford it. But he can't. Get an apartment, it doesn't mean he has to move back to CT, just get an apartment in Washington and sell the house. Fuck the whole "Oh in 3 years the price of the house will be higher and I can sell it for more!" excuse, he has to get outta there, it's not working out for him.
