Because Phil plays WWII like a donkey with a blinder. Never looks around when he enters a room or area so he always gets flanked and shot ("Of course I got flanked because my team sucks") and he also sprays his shots like he wants to create a big painting and nearly always points at the feet instead of the head ("Of course! I shot first but he killed me. What a shitty game"). Probably a habbit when you play on console, I would guess, maybe?

Btw he is honestly not bad in Cuphead. That was surprising.

True but I haven't personally seen him win in what seems like years (probably has been) and he was just awful. Acting like he was pro, insulting team-mates, insulting opponents. Constantly pointing out "I'm the best on my/both team(s)".

It was really kinda sad tbh. If he'd been a normal human it would've been decent end gameplay wise to his stream. He just had to be himself though.

Phil thinks, and seems to have done so for a while now, that saying 'I hope we get more subs' is the same thing as taking an action to get more subs. His whole business model, which, clearly 'works' as he sure ain't going hungry, is to kind of hope. Just, kinda say, 'I hope I get more views.' It's the motherfucking American dream.

The other thing that fascinates me is how he literally thinks Youtube is some kind of nationalised public utility that has deep moral responsibilities to it's content creators. Phil has never understood that when you get something online for 'free,' you are not the customer, you are the product.

I also just fucking adore the phrase 'content creator.' I be all like, yo, husband, sort the litter tray, content has been created. Scoop it out.' I can create content. Give me a bucket.

I don't consider him to have ever been professional level. To me someone doing something at a professional level isn't someone who can get 4th place in a major tournament when a bunch of outside factors (other than their skill) align, nor is it someone who can win a minor tournament once a year a few years out of the 10+ they do that something. A professional is someone who is so good at something they can... do it as a profession. If you're not so good you can make a living doing it, you're probably not really all that good.

He is starting to realize how much him not being able to mention the fundraiser buzz word is starting to hurt him. He is starting to get irritable with chat because they are not giving money because of not seeing his begging. He will soon lose more money and get more angry with each stream. yEAH THIS WAS HAPPENING ON wEDNESDAY, and it came across as bratty and resentful and it was not cute. Already you can see his cult shooting at each other and Amityville is killing it by being in there and just neutrally playing them off and throwing spanners in occasionally. The thing is with Jezal, BSV and GC is at some point all 3 woke up and thought "why am I giving this guy money?" People who paid him prior are starting to now because you can see the amount of people questioning him even the "wheres Kat?" is a dig at this point. I have to honestly admit I will be watching his pre streams a lot more regular now not just him unravelling but the chat as they all jump bow.

I watched a little bit of his stream Wednesday to see how it was going. I was surprised that he wasn't that bad at CoD. He wasn't great by any means. He'd get two or three kills before dying. That's not really anything to brag about.

It makes me laugh that this fucker with a 10 year legacy thinks that pathetic of KDA is good but he should know that WW2 cod has some of the least amount of players. Its lost a lot of traction.

[fftopic:] Yes, this label is meaningless. Everything is/has content. And you just "do" it. Throwing socks in the basket is also content creation. I create content in this basket.
In my old network contract I was at least a "video artist" (:powerlevel which sounds meaningful and hits the nail on the head, if you do more than just StartRec/StopRec. [/fftopic:] So... yes, Phil is just someone who "does" content.

BSV didn't wake up. He's still giving DSP an unknown amount on Patreon. GoldenColts also didn't "wake up" as far as I know; I'm under the impression from what I've read that he's just busy for a bit.

It definitely doesn't count as a wake up considering they let Phil know how much they regretted not being able to give him free money anymore and how they would give him any free cash that came up (except BSV who's attitude changes with the winds).

In case you haven't been following the lore... BSV was only able to support Phil so much when he was working. He couldn't continue his website theinternetpolice.com because he didn't have enough money.

He's not giving Phil $500.

Indeed these are cursed times for Phillip. I think many people are too quick to suggest this will be his end or that it will be coming soon.

Phil will be doing this until the bitter end. After he moves back to Connecticut, after Kat is long gone, he will be playing so long there are paypigs.

I like how DSP misled some old judges that didn't know better into believing $10 per person entry fees are to defray costs and didn't inform them it was actually a winner's pot too. I also like how he claimed he didn't intend to organize future tournaments. Early example of someone telling DSP that he violated a written agreement he signed, but it's ok because he clearly didn't know he was breaking the agreement.
