Phil will never lose weight. His ego prevents him from accepting the fact that he's looking increasingly grotesque, and his laziness prevents him from taking actions to improve his condition in any way. He will only get fatter, grosser, balder, and more disgusting with time. I said it a few months ago, but yeah - at his age, it's a real slippery slope. The next two years we could see him age way further than he did the past ten.
The fact that he isn't even trying to take care of himself says something of his so-called "relationship". Usually guys who find a new wifey at least try to get some exercise, some new clothes, a haircut.. Just a little extra to impress the new girl. But he seems to be doing absolutely nothing. Makes me think there might be something to that whole "Did Kat leave?" rumor.
Even if she's still there, the fact that he's changed nothing about his foul attitude or appearance suggest that he's certainly not happy. Just picture what it's like for Kat, travelling across the country to live in Leanna's dirty, abandoned room only for a bloated Phillip to whine to her all month about bleeding subscribers and not having video games to play. If she hasn't left already, she must certainly be having second thoughts.

The last time I heard someone bring up exercise to him he was talking about how children should go outside and play like he did as a kid, instead of sitting inside playing video games, so they develop properly. Someone in his chat suggested he take his own advice and start doing exercise for his health. He called them a moron and said, 'Nooo, only children need to do that. I'm an adult, I'm already developed, I'm done developing so I don't need to do any of that. That's how it works. You do that as a child, adults are supposed to sit in an office all day.' He was not joking whatsoever.

DSPsychology: Cooking, maintaining intimate relationships, being a Let's Player/streamer, etc. Phil recognizes the esteem held by others for these things, but not the skill, finesse, that makes them valuable. He understands steamers do special events, and that viewers respond with more 'interaction'. But is devoid of. or doesn't invest in creating, the talent, entertaining personality, whatever, that is the value behind a special stream.

Tbh I think the initial Kat post on DSP's instagram was a test of sorts from her* to see how the atmosphere would be.
Its pretty easy to see that she may have underestimated the reaction from people which consisted of getting an Olympic gold medal timing in dox as well as the numerous comments about not only her physical appearance but other stuff about her appearance (clothing/make up).
The stuff about the demon sibling may have also been something she hadn't told a soul about. But that's something that is 100% not her fault and just a bizarre part of her family situation.
If I were her, and having seen all of that within about 2-3 hours of my first "public appearance" I'd probably not really want to be a part of it.
* = because by virtue of being the girlfriend she gets to write almost all rules. DSP even mentioned this when saying he'd never say Leanna was wrong about anything even if she was. He got a lot of shit about it but the reality is: "happy wife, happy life" and he wasn't bullshitting about that.

You see, this is why his stories about lifting weights and playing football back in the day are probably bullshit. I don't know anyone who takes part and genuinely enjoys fitness and exercise decide one day "Meh, I don't like this anymore". It becomes a way of life. And when someone does suffer a severe permanent injury they will still see what they can and can't do in terms of exercising. There are people who are literally in wheelchairs and are missing limbs and I see them in the gym.
He'll make any excuse he can not to exercise. He said he can't ride a bicycle because of his back and he mentioned about a treadmill a long time ago but I can't remember what his excuse was on that, if someone can find that video, thanks.
He needs to realize that he's as fat as ever, turning 36 next month and he's only going to get way worse frighteningly fast if he doesn't do something now. I'm not expecting him to become a bodybuilder, but 40 minutes of your day regularly doing some sort of cardio will do wonders.

lol Watching his first video of "Getting Over it" (and only the first one) and it's just as bad as I thought. The commentary is either completely annoying on nonexistent. As always Phil misses the trends by MILES and now it's too late for it to matter.
