Marine Le Pen facing prison time

Marine Le Pen was today facing up to three years in prison after being charged with tweeting 'monstrous' Islamic State images including one of the terrorist group beheading an American journalist.

The 49-year-old leader of France's far-Right National Front has denied any wrongdoing, but now faces trial in the Paris suburb of Nanterre.

Beyond the three-years in prison, prosecutors can also demand a maximum fine equivalent to £67,000.

France, while welcoming terrorists with open arms, instead of attacking the perpetrators, attacks a politician for criticizing them.

I'm glad I don't live in this shitty, cucked hellhole of a country. They deserve whatever happens to them.

Wait. Soooo, just so's I am very clear here, when you imply that Muslims are terrorists in a comic strip, then get shot, we are ALL, all over the world, Charlie, and you are martyrs for liberté, égalité, and fraternité.

When you are Marine La Pen, however, and you retweet actual Muslims being actual terrorists, in the context of actual reality, then you... should go to jail.

That's exactly it. As fucked up as it is, we kind of need to see pictures and videos of ISIS atrocities every now and then just so we don't forget what depraved, sick fucks they are. This is especially relevant because some public figures and media outlets are starting to push the "ISIS terrorists are just misunderstood uwu" narrative (see: Justin Trudeau advocating the "reintegration" of ISIS members in Canada).

ISIS members are rapists, looters, and murderers, and their atrocities should be shoved in the faces of every person who claims that they deserve "understanding" or talks about their "grievances." I'm a firm believer in the goodness of humanity and I believe that most people can change for the better, but ISIS is just pure evil.

The dailymail article is the only one about this story. I searched in two languages, and the closest story there is is Le Pen being charged for misuse of EU funds. The worst thing a politician can endure for saying stupid shit is having immunity taken away, which politicians shouldn't have in the first place.

No the unfortunate trajectory seems to be that they'll become slaves to an Islamic caliphate along with the rest of Western Europe for a few generations until whatever descendants of theirs find their balls and say "fuck this" and, unlike their ancestors, completely remove kebab from their country and continent.

I feel bad for all the people that hate the EU and open borders that have to put up with the neoliberal dream. There isn't really anywhere for a french person to go since everywhere France colonized and spread their language to is pretty shitty.
