Secret Gamer Girl / SecretGamerGrrl / Googleshng / "Violet Hargrave" / Jacob Lawrence (Jake) Alley / Violet Cassandra Ocean - Delusional Zoe Quinn Stalker, Libelous Tweeter, Thirsty Gnome, Faux-Tranny Neckbeard Incel, Micropenis, "Known Troubled Person", Creator of "Massive vs the Masses", Self-Described "Noise Making Thing"; Lives in Niantic, CT

No way in fuck does Jake Alley code at all to have any capabilities to make a slider that changes a graphic based on traits. I don't believe he could do it for fucking eye color, much less something with this level of complicated minefield social shit attached to it. He has mentioned before that he has no programming capability, so what does he mean that he's "working on" it? He tries to waste people's time, soliciting their suggestions for something that will achieve all the reality of an 8th grader sketching out their super cool video game idea in their wide-ruled notebook.

So this is his latest attempt at Zoe's attention, he is trying to position himself as an indie dev, but since he is a dude he needs to actually produce something and can't just fuck someone who makes things. The kicker to this problem is that he is lazy and talentless so he'll poke around a bit at some tutorials and virtue signal on Twitter then move onto some other scheme for her attention.

Jake's newest project that he'll never finish would be so amazing to the .3% of the population that ignored the children's book that explained that men and women's bodies are different.

Like, this isn't even a trans thing. Pure troonism at work where checking a 'female' box is all that matters.

This is what spurred Jake’s retarded quest on making a retarded troon monster game character, but he completely and totally ignored the actual issue Hayden’s tweet was addressing. It wasn’t about “game characters” it was about the fact that every show about game dev is hosted by men.

I so wanted Jake to volunteer to be the woman the world needed to host a show on game dev, instead he just totally ignored the message so he could get his jollies off ranting about creating some bizarre eunuch game character.

Him having to tweet in nonsense circles trying to avoid admitting tits = female and crotch bulge = male was fun tho.

It not so much a matter of coding. You could set this up in a 3d program using morphshapes. The thing is it's a fairly advanced task. There is 99% that we will never hear about this again. And 1% chance he manages to set something up based on tutorials, but since he will skip all the thousands of hours practice you need to actually become a 3d artist it will look horrific. Think those melting sanic 3d models horrific.

This just highlights how much he does not belong in the troon world. I mean, that stuff is Troon 101. I like the way he never quite loses the pompous front, though.

I wish some internet :gold:digger would volunteer to become Jake's female face to the world on YouTube. Less like Sarkeesian and McIntosh, more like some complex con job Mannix would unravel. They could split the patreon money 50/50.

You know how we’ve debated what freaky shit Jake is into? After seeing how long he spent staring at a naked woman to turn her into a polygon character, I suddenly thought shit like this is probably in his spank bank.

(Edit I only remember this scene because it scared the ever loving shit out of me as a kid.)

Now, that isn't bad for a first try. Not bad at all. A very simple, low-poly model obviously, but to even get that far, Jake had to invest some time and effort. Blender has a very steep initial learning curve. Also, he had to deal with planning, asymmetry in his reference photo, sit through a couple of tutorials. I'm not sure the topology is quite what's wanted to do his gender bending exercise, but I won't be churlish take away from what he's accomplished. Baby steps.

Wouldn't it be something if Jake caught the bug and got into Blender? I doubt he has the art chops for character design, but there's a world of niche skills in the production pipeline that he could master if he put his mind to it.

Jake’s tutorial is posting other tutorials. Exactly what is to be expected. Also “I want sliders for swapping genders” is a bad choice of words because I read that as “male and female buttons” which games already have as opposed to the spectrum thing he wants. Jake’s “game-type thing” will be him modeling himself and hitting “swap gender” to turn himself into a magical girl.

Why didn't he do what most modelers do when they start out? Assume symmetry in a basic design by modeling one side and then mirroring it and making adjustments after the fact? Because that's quicker and easier and able to be tweaked once its mapped out.

I mean yeah he's just following a tutorial and acting like he's hot shit but like everything in his life he makes it way too complicated and expects others to believe he's amazing for it.

Babby's first box model, he even skipped the feet, and true to the spirit of the fat bald man with a huge graying beard he used Blender to do it.

Yeah, maybe he's finally found something he can build a career in -

if he put his mind to it.
- oh.

I have to second MysteriousStrangers opinion, it's not too bad for a first try, I've certainly seen worse topology among amatuers....tho I have some caveats.

1) Jake is a fabulist, chances are he spent more than "one try" on this.
2) I can't be arsed to look at the tutorial he is linking to, so for all I know he is following it 100% slavishly, which makes it less impressive.

For baby's first model that's actually what I'd call pretty good. Not something for rigging and texturing lol, excited to see what sort of horror show his textures will be.
But seriously? Tutorial for your first model ever?????? Like look, making a tutorial on how to follow someone else's tutorial is the most cartoonishly mansplainy thing I've ever fuckin seen. "I'm so inexperienced this is the first thing I've ever made, stand there and let me tell you, person who's probably done just as much if not more than me if you're at all interested in learning how to blender, how to follow someone else's instructions for this basic beginner's thing"
