It's his version of doing a "book report."
When students start doing college research papers, they usually come in doing them pretty much as book reports. So-and-so says this, so-and-so says this, here's my tacked-on conclusion I wrote down before I'd even read the materials to see if they matched with it. A good college writing class plus a research methods class should take care of that, but this is where it becomes clear that Jake has never been to college. He still writes like he's trying to please the teacher by showing what he learned on his summer vacation.
You see this same sort of over-explained, over-pedantic explanation from other non-college-educated cows that try to sound erudite. The one this reminded me of, somehow, was Zinnia Jones. His writing has that same feeling of being written by someone who has never had any training in structure or stylistics and is just trying to show off knowledge for the person handing out grades.

Is that really true? I sort of assumed that he had, because of the whole manchild thing. The college environment is a fertile environment for them.
Looking back through his blogs I see references to "friends showing up" which could only have been at a dorm, because who would just go to his house?

- His dad lives in Georgia (or did at the time of these blogs), and has only perfunctory contact with him
- His dad has been married three times to scurrilous women, and Jake refused to go to his latest wedding because the climate of Georgia is too hot for him
- He claims his family is poor, and his mother had been unemployed for a long while
- He was close with his aunt at the time of the blogs, he mentions going to visit her a number of times

There are numerous faults with Jake's writing, but I think the biggest is that he just can't be concise. Those cartoons suffer from exactly the same problem as his Twitter - he takes a format that demands concise expression and decides that no, what he has to say is way too important to be reduced to a short, pithy sentence. The result is a long-winded, unreadable wall of text that totally fails to express anything of interest. Why he thought it was a good idea to try to express himself through a visual medium I don't know, because that art is an absolute afterthought.

When the thread went up, Jake, who insists he totally wasn't doxed, sperged out and emailed archive.org to destroy all the Jake Alley site archives there, he also had his fa/tg/uy Googleshng RPs purged off their wiki, had his Talking-Time Googleshng account renamed, and as we now know used himself getting outed to talk to CHELSAY and tried to guilt her by saying he was going to kill himself to protect his family if she didn't help him.

Is he actually out to his mother? I swear he's flip-flopped on this.
Mind you, if it is true, arguing about his identity in terms of children's cartoons actually does sound like about his level of gender understanding, so maybe his mother knew him better than he thought.
