It's at least partly because he managed to yank some of the RAM out of place when he was unboxing like an ape. I remember him running some specs and noticing half his RAM wasn't there. Naturally it was beyond Phil to actually look inside the machine so I doubt that ever got fixed, Phil just assumed the guy ripped him off. As I recall it was actually a good PC for the time, apart from, you know, the user.

Because it's a lie. Phil has to pay his "taxes" no matter if he gets $1 or $1000. By saying the money goes 100% to taxes makes his audience think they are helping. Wrong. The money goes in Phil's wallet and gets mixed in with any other money he has and then goes to pay taxes.

Lets pretend there is some miracle and Phil gets $10,000 donated to him. If he only owes $8,000 is he going to give the government the extra $2k and tell them to hold on to it till next time or would he pocket that money?

The other thing that's really important to reiterate is that there is about a 99.9% chance that Phil would not have to pay a lump sum coming up. He's pushing that idea to try and milk more money, but it's bullshit. The IRS and WA state will happily take a payment plan to get the money they're owed. Is it ideal? Of course not. But this nonsense about having to sell the house is just bologna.

His prestreams are getting longer. They now average 50 minutes+

The line used to be: '100% of that money will go straight to the bills'. He's been running this scam so long, the purpose for it has essentially led into another administration. If this Tax thing ever gets resolved, I imagine 100% of that money will be going straight back to those same 'bills' that were the governing party previous.
 
It baffles me that he doesn't understand how bad it sounds when he switches to "straight to mah taxes". At least when it was bills someone unaware of who Phil is could say "Oh he's just tight on money and needs some help making ends meet". But when it's taxes it just show how horrid his financial decision making is and the same person that might have been sympathetic to "mah bills" would most likely see a conman trying to squeeze money out of people who don't know any better to support someone else's overindulgent lifestyle.

Why do I get the feeling the total tax amount is going to be like a few hundred dollars, and Phils response is "Woah dood totally forgot to carry the one and move the decimal on my taxes! It really was not that bad, thanks for the support everyone *snort* okay, looks like i need to tell you all about my new health issue! I was in the doctors office and my medical bills are too much! I need your help!"

I just clicked on his stream and for the first 30 seconds he didn't say a word and then the great commentary of "oh he died" no wonder hes barely hitting 200 views.

edit: oh game crashed lol makes it almost worth suffering the minute

So I've seen the theory that one of the points of his prestreams are to get people to toss quarters at him so he will talk to them and the tiny amounts coming in are the cocain from the feeder bar that the experimental rat fucks up it's environment to keep getting even to the point of ignoring pushing the bar to stop the floor from being electrified, so we can expect to see longer and longer ones as the deadline gets closer and the Pigroach needs cash injections to stave off anxiety attacks. . .

but really, who the fuck is he performing his prestreams for? On the West Coast they happen noon to 1pm, on the East coast they happen 3 to 4 pm, in the UK and Europe they happen 8/9 to 9/10 pm, and in Austalia they happen at like fucking 7am. The demographic he's begging from is like jobless 19 to 30 year old men (supported by evidence from the January Harvest lol), and people in Europe right before they go to bed and probably can't watch the rest of his stream. On YouTube they barely make him 2¢. He really is an idiot. I bet if you asked him he has no fucking idea what times his streams happen in the UK. He basically ignores every timezone except the East Coast, and that's probably accidental.

This is basically a snapshot of everything DSP:

1.Phails at something
2.Blaming others, internet, game developer, detractors, opponents, teammates etc
3.Found out that it was actually because of his own stupidity and ineptitude
