That's why you take it with a grain of salt and just make note of it. When the Kim Brink thing came up, it was funny and I enjoyed the banter. You don't get burnt looking at the stove, only when you touch it.After the whole Kim Brink thing, it's obvious why people want to verify who it is. History is repeating itself.
People are asking questions, the mods are deleting questions and everybody's being told "take it at face value, even if it's fake news DSP's reaction will be precious!"
Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice I won't be fooled again.
So, I'm gonna put in my two cents. The Escort arc aside, I think this is legitimate. We've known for years how salty Phil is over detractor videos. It's what spawned quotes like "You're stealing my khaantent!", "spreading blatant lies!", "no-life dumbfucks", etc etc. He's been butthurt over them since day one. It's just like him to want to get rid of them.
We know that despite how he tries to act like he doesn't care about something, or if he says he's "over it", he's not. Just look at the breakup with Leanna. Guy starts by saying it was mutual and it just happened with nothing bad, then we get salty tears with Phil for months, with him whining about her and the whole thing. Same goes for any shit that happens in his life. Something occurs. He puts on a cool exterior to try and impress his fans by acting like a badass that can't be shook by stuff. But his ego has been shattered, and it's only a matter of time before he makes it apparent.
This is just more proof of how """honest""" he truly is, and how fragile his ego is. Yeah, he doesn't care about those dumb detractor vids, guys. Believe what he says, even though he tries to get them took down behind the scenes.
To me it would depend on what they asked of me, if it was simple promotion on a forum, doing a wallpaper for the stream i wouldnt post it online, but i wouldnt also keep it a secret, however asking to find and help flagging videos of people that disagree and the streamer would flag to avoid a bad reputation is a completly diffrent thing!tbh if I was a fan of some streamer and they sent me a list of work to do for them then I'd probably post the screenshots everywhere or send them a bill. That's the part that strikes me as more despicable than anything else.

I get that people get excited by things which are kept private but its really not that exciting or groundbreaking. .
Seeing howmany paypigs he lost recently, iwould say they do care.
Well how I see it is that while both situations are technically the same, comparing them isn't. Here we have proof that Phil wants detractor content flagged and the videos removed and incites his paycult to do it for him cause he's a lazy prick. With the whole Kimberly thing it was a couple who had a catfish account going back nearly a decade who claimed that Phil hired an escort to pretend to be his gf and also fucked him up the ass with a dildo. After the whole Kim Brink thing, it's obvious why people want to verify who it is. History is repeating itself.

I personally(and professionally) could care less about the messenger's identity. The message itself is telling of Phil's hypocritical "I'm the realest muthafucca on Youtube" stance. If someone outed my professor to everyone cheating on the final, I wouldn't launch into an investigator on the person that outed us. I cheated on a final. I'm the piece of shit. What is the reasoning behind not saying who it is? Once DSP sees the messages, he'll know who it is, and I don't know how it affects anything if we know. I don't care that much about who it is, just curious why not.

ya'll are intense
Honestly it depends on the video and situation. If hypothetically the first thing that came up searching for DSP was something like "DSP exposed proven child molestor" or something of that caliber. I could both relate and understand why he would do it. But Thesecretlife of DSP's video I would not see worthy. He fuched the escort thing up a bit. But no one cares about that any more.Calling our resident Bench Hobo, @BSV.
Any potential insider info, or insights, that you're willing to share on the situation of Phil trying to organize takedowns of videos that he finds particularly egregious?
In fact phil would usually refuse to discuss any type of drama of any kind. So this is very surprising.
