He's said a few times that he came out as a tranny to his mom and she said that he can't be, because he's too hairy.
He never goes into much more detail than that, apart from claiming that he's at risk of being homeless because transphobia is so rife.
It's difficult to know what to believe with Jake. I do think it's possible he tried to come out as trans and she dismissed it instantly, because every normal person would. I can imagine she doesn't want to hear a word of it, because who wants to hear the deluded fantasy illness of your only son? But it's just as likely that Jake's just a fucking liar making up stories in the hope that some of his followers will buy him shit.

Increasingly delusional. I find myself reading his tweets lately with a permanent "wait, WHAT?" expression. He's gone perpendicular to anything even his 'own side' believes.

I suspect this is what he does. He's always going on about having "many irons in the fire". What he seems to lack is the ability to focus on one thing through to completion. Even with a writing deadline imminent, he got distracted. It's very likely his life story and the reason why he never masters any skills.
