does anyone know when Phil's stream got raid? Laughing Archives‏ has a tweet saying his stream got raid and phil got pissed and put the chat in followers only.

This is probably not a fan of phil. It's someone phil views as equal as himself.

He obviously thought he had one.

While I mostly agree with the first post I quoted I don't believe Phil sees anyone as his equal, nor do I think he thought the anonymous person was his friend.

Zero instances of Phil reaching out to this person asking them how their life is, all about Phil. That's not friendship.

We only saw what NP thought was worth sharing. There might had been interactions where common pleasantries were exchanged.

You can't jump to conclusions like that based on a small sample of DMs. Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence and all that jazz.

Couple random (possibly autistic) thoughts about the recent events:

1. Anyone else think the reason he immediately switched from talking about "bills" to "taxes" isn't because he's trying to put a new twist on his begging to milk more from his fans, but because he doesn't want Kat to hear what's really going on? Think about it. If you meet someone a few times, they show off all their fancy shit, then as soon as you move in you hear them crying about bills on stream every day, you'd think they have money problems and are struggling, right? If you complain about "expensive taxes" that's a bit less concerning. Like I could see some Joe Blow thinking "Well of course he has higher taxes. He's self employed. Gets thousands a month from several different sources. Must be tricky calculating all of that."

It's still a debt either way but if you told most people you owe a lot in taxes they'd say "Damn, that sucks. Good luck with that." If you showed off a bunch of fancy shit to them, then instantly start crying about your credit card debts, your mortgages, car payments, bills etc people are going to think that you're terrible with money and trying too hard to impress people. And if they're dating/rooming with you they're gonna book it the fuck out of there because clearly it's not a stable environment. It's also easier for DSP to be vague and bullshit her too since all he has to say is "muh taxes" and use the same stories he's been telling everyone on stream to confuse and throw her off his trail. He doesn't have to show her a credit card bill or anything that's concrete or would cripple his facade.

2. I think the DMs neger posted are real. Just my opinion, not gospel. But I'm feeling they're real only because of the way DSP is reacting to the entire thing. Usually it's some form "ack ack ack ur all fuking morons. ppl are sooo dumb!" or "let me whine about this for hours every day and milk it for all its worth". This time it's instant, total shutdown. He didn't even sound like "Tough Guy DSP" where he gets aggressive and starts making threats and shit. Seemed like he was just trying to make the whole go away. "I'M DONE! I'M DONE! I never want to hear ANYTHING about anything EVER AGAIN!"

Reminds me a bit of those cop shows or Predator shows (and no I'm not comparing Phil to a pedo or anything) where the people get busted, they deny everything but the entire time they're like "Whatever I'm done. Think what you want but I'm done. And I didn't do anything, I don't know what's going on, I didn't even want to be here...but just know you will never see me around here again!" Got a bit of that feel to it, imo.

Phil seems to have these pseudo-conspiracy theory-esqe thoughts fairly frequently. I'd like to think that in some slightly divergent timeline that instead he became some sort of low rent Alex Jones YouTuber that shilled iodine pills and custom tin foil hats instead of begging for bits and tips.

So in Phil's Prestream response to someone asking if having Kat around is going to help alleviate paying for bills so he will have more money available to pay his taxes Phil basically said that even when she does get a job she will only be paying for her own stuff like her phone bill (why doesn't she get on his phone plan at a cheeper rate?), and even though they will be sharing the city, energy, and grocery bills it won't alleviate much as the bills will be for 2 people instead of 1 (honestly the water bill would be like $30 higher, and the energy would be like $15 higher). He also then went on a rant about how she's an adult and every adult has their own issues, and specifically mentioned debt as an example of issues adults have.

I just enjoy poking holes in Phil's lie that she "has her own career and is transferring her job so she will be working right away which will be a huge help to Phil with bills." This also plays into my idea that a main motivater in her living with Phil is not having to pay rent, and considering her reluctance and the number of times Phil insisted that the future of their relationship hinges on him being able to provide a house for her it makes me raise an eyebrow. If she has her own debt she is trying to pay off, a few tens of thousands of dollars is apparently not an uncommon amount of debt for an American adult to have, having an extra $5K to $10K per year to put towards paying off that debt could see her debt free while still in her 20's, and is a way I've seen these living situations play out where one person's money is entirely their own and the other person's money pays for the place they both live and most incidentals for both of them.

He also seemed to vaguely imply she would be getting some type of fast-food job and scoffed at the idea she would be able to get a job making $100K per year after just having moved cross-country, "Do you see those[$100K] jobs everywhere? No! What do you see? Fast-food." Not a bad job, isn't she 25?, working her way into restaurant management or something.

Phil, of course, is not especially bright. But I think we have to, as always, keep in mind the paradoxical undercurrent in Phil's mind that is the schemer, manipulator. He'll hit upon some none-too-bright non-sense (moving to Seattle, moving Kat in), and then fabricate justifications to give to his fans (moving to Seattle because Leanna has to move in and be his full-time nurse after back surgery, moving Kat in with him 'cause she's his soulmate and will be a second income, etc.).

After he gets his desired non-sense, he dumps his given reasons and moves on like it never happened (Seattle air healed his back, Kat can't drive, etc.). This desire for a TKOHF reworking is like his previous endeavors. We probably won't find out why he wanted it. But the stupid reasons he's given for it are almost certainly not 'True and Honest'.

Phil, of course, is not especially bright. But I think we have to, as always, keep in mind the paradoxical undercurrent in Phil's mind that is the schemer, manipulator.

This has always been the key fundamental that makes Phil such a great lolcow. I like the concept that when these utterly ridiculous ideas pop into his head he thinks he's a god damn genius and that he'll get his worshippers to buy into it and foot any bills for it. And then when it blows up in his face, he's baffles as to how things went wrong and that clearly his ideas were flawless.

Phil plays what he THINKS will bring in money, but he fails to realize that the fans dictate what's going to make money. If he isn't playing any games that they want to watch they don't watch. Entertainment is a service industry. People pay you to entertain them. This means that they will dictate most of what you're going to be doing.

For example, if I hired a roofer to install new shingles, he isn't going to tell me "No, that's not what you want, I'm going to put a steel roof up, you'll love it." This is basically what Phil does. "No, I can't play Mario Sunshine, the people who are literally asking me to play it and paid me to play it will get burnt out on it. I'll play that later."

That's literally the story.

Someone sent a cheer in DSP chat and called him Dave. DSP responded that his name isn't Dave and his chat all joined in and called him Dave for a stream. Tevin thought it was funny.

Tevin refuses to call DSP "Phil," because he thinks it's weird but that's different lore.

He said in one of his streams that someone just tipped him with a message like "Whats up with Dave today?" (( don't quote me on that, but it was something simple like that with the name Dave)) and so he said he liked and decided to just start calling him Dave.

I legit feel he does it just to piss off DSP when watching his videos (which he suspects) and also so he can't technically be called slander if he uses another name.

He isn't. Him and another person are very clearly just shitposting. And the to-email.com leaks from ages ago show that they're just causing drama for laughs. They're dedicated to it, and its kind of funny in a way because they're the exact kind of fans that Phil wants, but they are not "real" they're just people acting dumb for laughs.

They actually do a lot more harm than Phil will ever realize though, and as you said they drive people away from following Phil or asking anything remotely critical about him (even if its super softball criticism about what kind of games he should play)
