Has Bob actually disparaged Broadway Musicals as a whole? I recall left leaning circles ate up(and I believe still do) Hamilton. The only time I remember Bob deriding Broadway was when he brought up Trey Parker and Matt Stone with The Book of Mormon, and even then, I think that was more because of the jabs at “P.C. Culture” that South Park was making at the time.

There's a small nugget of truth there they're almost stumbling upon. It's very common for up and coming companies challenging the status quo to be very libertarian and "yay capitalism" only for when they get to "the top" to start realizing that maybe regulations are necessary to stop competition protect customers.
